Pre-Game and Round 1

My early game consisted of making some fairly decent connections. The first strong connection was probably with Coach. As you can see, that didn't work out as far as tribe picks were concerned. I also spoke a fair amount to Bob, a little to Chris aaannd you can see where this is going... B)

By the time Challenge 0 arrived I thought I had a few people I was connecting with but only one even vaguely hinted at an alliance and that was Coach. I liked that idea, but as they say, the best laid plans.

Anyway, tribe pick made me feel very nervous. Being picked second to last is not really the best feeling. Here I am and have only talked with a couple of the people on this tribe. I quickly made an effort to speak to more people...or more specifically people on my own tribe now lol

I talked with some more than others during the challenge. I feel the easiest convos have been with Nick, Misty, Jerry and Candice. In speaking with several of them this evening, I'm hopeful that an alliance can be built out of that. My paranoid self won't be trusting that completely for a while though.

As of now, I have talked to Jerry, Nick and Misty about working together and Nick says he has also been having similar convos with the same people. If that's the case, my position in the tribe doesn't seem too awful.

*Also, wanted to add that I found out from Nick that Misty is the one who mentioned me to him when he was picking his tribe.

If I had to guess, I'd say Misty/Nick is a solid alliance. Maybe F2 even though it seems really early for that. Just the vibe I get from the info they both seem to pass back and forth. We shall see.

Oh, and I like the whole tribe. :\ Why did you have to cast such nice people? It's easier to vote people out when they are kind of mean or snooty.

It sounds like most people are on board for voting Joe this round. I feel bad for him because he was a late replacement, but he really hasn't been talking that much as far as I can tell.

Watch...it will be me going home tonight. :o
