The stakes are high

This challenge is called Battlefield Chess.

This will be played live.
There will be a bracket format, who you play will be randomly selected.
Loser is out.
That means we will be playing 3 games.
I will use a google doc to do this.
We will create a new chat on AIM and you can tell me your moves there, you will be able to view the google doc update live.

Here are the rules:

-This is no ordinary chess. We will play on a 4 by 3 board
-Here is what the game will look like:



-The piece in the back center, the darker shade of red/green is the King.
Once you lose that piece, you lose the game.
-The arrows dictate which directions a piece can move.
-The 3 spaces closest to you are your territory.
-The piece in the front is a General. If it makes it into your opponents territory it becomes a Feudal Lord, which looks like this:



-When a piece becomes captured, it acts as a captive. Meaning if you captured your opponents piece, it is now yours to use.
-Placing a captive piece takes up your whole turn, you may not move any pieces when you put down a captured piece
-You may not put a captured piece on an occupied territory OR in your opponent's territory
-If you capture an opponent's Feudal Lord and place it on the board as your own, it will be a General

There are two forms of victory in this game:

1. Capture your opponent's King
2. If your King enters the opponent's territory AND survives one turn

To clarify:

-You capture a piece by going on top of it with one of your pieces
-Each piece may only move 1 square at a time
