I AM BACK!!!!

Now I have a lot of work to do.

It sucks not coming back with immunity. It's very easy to just say "lets just vote Aubry back out and settle this like gentlemen," so that's something I plan to avoid.

So far it's dead even between Old Ifbith and Old Chikorita talking me up. I have to say, right now, Chikorita is winning. That's mainly because I just don't like Chris. Something about him just bothers me.

My plan is to go for immunity. I won't bid on anything else. As nice as goodies would be, I need to be lowkey for this first round. Having people know what I have or don't have is vital to that plan. I have 5 coins and I want immunity. I'm hoping if I'm a totally known entity this round, I won't be viewed as an immediate threat. Right now, I'm just a challenge threat, and the people on Old Chikorita were not bad at all at challenges. So really I'm just all the challenge prowess Ifbith was missing, in a single person.

...God I'm bragging way too much about being STRONK.

I love being good at challenges though. I think wins are a valid strategy. They are also the only reason I am here.

Anyway, bidding early on immunity means a few different things:

1. Safety. Simple: If I get it, I'm safe...

2. Power: ...and no one else is. That puts me in a much better position to be lobbied for my vote.

3. Transparency: People know I'm not here vying for power or looking to be the HBIC. I just want immunity. I have nothing *special* or threatening to worry about. They also know exactly how many coins I have left after this. I am a known entity.

4. Strategy: This is the fun part of this bid. I'm saying that all I want is immunity. Nothing else. People courting me know to just back off. If anyone DOESN'T want me on their side, they've got to show their hand. That, or they genuinely believe they need it more than I do. But if you think you're in the dire straights... you need my vote.

So basically I think I'm golden to leave a single coin on Immunity and hope for the best. I need to do a lot more chit chatting tomorrow. I kind of forgot that returning today would mean talking and flaked out after an hour. I need to work on that.

I'll probably go with the first actual alliance offer I get. Joanna strongly encouraged me to float with the majority, just like I thougt she would, but... well, she does have a point. I'm the kind of person who loves the idea of controlling everything, but I do not have the social currency right now to pull that sort of thing off, or the knowledge to know how to get away with doing bad things and still be a viable winner. I dunno who the goats are and who I can leave alive in a betrayal/blindside, is what I'm saying.

Sooo... yeah, first round back I'll take my immunity and whatever I can get. I get the feeling the sides are forming, and they might actually be fairly even. I don't think people would be trying to sway me as much if they werent.

Anyway, I am BACK! Let's just hope I can keep this train going!

Ugh Candice. Okay fine I'll just bid all my coins. Then you can have immunity, and I'll vote with whoever talks shit about you to me the most. Simple.

I understand that upping the price is just par for the course, but seriously, you know exactly how many coins I have. 5. Push someone else's hand. Pushing me to my limit is antagonistic and makes it obvious you have no interest in working with me. If she bids 6, I guess that means she saved up, and decided that she needed to spend those coins on immunity for a round. What a waste.

Seriously I don't buy that she wants this immunity this bad that she would spend 6 coins on it. If she does, it's a move against me. Plain and simple. 6 is worth way more than a single round of safety for someone who's lasted this long already.

I would feel MUCH better going into this TC with immunity, especially since I haven't been able (or willing) to talk to everyone yet.
