Kane left the shards of statue long behind him. The rain and the wind had stopped so that was something, though he still had no idea where he was or where he was heading. He pushed open the Southern door and stepped out into the unknown.

The room beyond was large and cavernous. The floor was intricately decorated marble which shone in the ambient light around him. Overhead, the ceiling of the room was curved like a cave. Stalactites hung from the ceiling and loomed overhead as he walked across the floor. It was twice the length of a standard room, with the only other exit at the far South. It was set into the Western wall.

The middle of the floor was raised high above the marble, with a set of steps leading up to it in every direction. The platform contained four pillars jutting high above in each corner. Each one held a flaming torch, firmly in place. The marble on the platform was set into equally spaced out squares. He walked across it and turn to the East, freezing in place from the sudden onset of fear.

A figure was sat on a large throne against the Eastern wall. It was a looming figure, human in shape but in very little else. It wore thick red robes that covered the entirety of its body and hands. The face was completely invisible though, a shroud of darkness that seemed cold to look at. Atop his head he wore an intricate crown set into the shape of two horns. And he carried a large scepter in his right hand. The figure didn't so much as flinch or move as Kane crossed its path. He wasn't entirely certain it was even alive at all. But he felt the presence as something more than just a statue.

He quickly scuttled out of sight, though it felt like the being was still watching from his throne.

It is now Phase 34. Phase 34 will end in roughly 24 hours from now.

Ummmmm okay. I'll need to digest this but not right now. I'll be back a little later today.

Fuck all day at work again. I have a feeling something might need to be done/explored here.

Oh shit I just read (and paid attention to) the opening flavor. It seems my dong buddy Pollux is in this room. Maybe I should slap him in the face with my scrotum (no homo called).

I wonder if this is some twist of a red room though no challenge has been presented to me yet and not any interaction with the figure (if it is really Pollux).

I've decided to wait and see what happens before putting in my exit move. If nothing emerges by the end of the phase I shall continue to explore and hopefully not set off any traps and wind up dead.

Not sure what I'm supposed to do here if anything so I guess I'll just be moving on.
