Willis @ 21/4/2013 23:13
Parker strode to the Western room. They had a pretty good feel for where they were going now. Should be interesting. He pushed the door release as the howling noise moved East. It was still South of them. He shuddered. Glad he wasn't down there. He stretched his arms and cracked his neck before venturing forth.

The room beyond was dusty and full of old paper, screwed up and tossed all over the floor. It was a standard size. He glanced down at a screwed up piece and eyed it up and down before deciding it was useless. Man, Willis sure kept a lot of junk around this place.

In the middle of the room was a computer desk with a monitor and a keyboard. The screen displayed a message which was bleeping at him. He scratched his head and glanced down at it.

"Enter deactivation code: _ _ _ _ _ _"

The others followed in and looked around. This wasn't quite what they were expecting. The dusty old study ended at the Southern side of the room where a huge metal door overlooked everything. A light on the front of it glowed red. There was a track moving into it and the door had a green circle painted around it. As they looked on, the light turned green and the doors opened loudly. A shuttle trundled up the track and came to a rest.

Parker kicked up his legs and sat back in the chair by the desk, looking down at the computer. Mark moved over, excitedly.

"Finally, I can catch up on my blog." He said as he walked over.

At that moment he paused and looked at the screen.

"Deactiva-"

As he spoke the word, the lights dimmed. Suddenly there was a frantic beeping. It was coming from beneath the desk. Marek scuttled over and looked beneath, his eyes widening when he saw what was down there. The others gathered around to look. A countdown timer was ticking away from 23:59:58. It was wired to a few rounds of explosives.

"Fucking great." Said Eleanor, groaning miserably.

Walton looked around as everybody began to panic. All they needed was to put a code in? He bashed away at the keys.

"#1 1 1 1 1 1"

The screen flashed red again.

"Error: Incorrect code. 20 attempts remaining."

"Twenty!" Shrieked Brie. Coming here was a bad idea. How would they figure this out. Wilt began scrounging through the papers on the floor but it was all nothing. There was no way to decipher a code from any of this.

"Friends, here!" Said Lee.

On the other side of a desk were six books labelled volumes 1-6.

"I'm sure that the magic word is in here somewhere..." He ventured.

It is now Phase 26. Phase 26 will end in roughly 24 hours from now.
