Lincoln opened his eyes. He'd dozed off in the damp medical chamber. With a stretch he picked himself up. Time to move on. He looked despondently at the room. He really had searched it top to bottom. No sense in worrying though, life was too short. He dashed up the metal stairwell and clambered to the top, pushing the door release.

He marched through the Western room briskly but slowed down his pace. There was something unpleasant about the room beyond. It stretched out into a long, thin corridor and was rocky in appearance. It felt like stepping outside. The ceiling above and around him were like the inside of a cave. They were very familiar looking. There was a strange purple glow to everything in here.

he walked forward about the width of a standard room and glanced out into the chasm below. A narrow, wooden bridge was crossing over it. It slowly rocked this way and that. It didn't look very secure to say the least.

And far below the bridge was nothingness. It was a glowing purple vortex. Purple lightning occasionally shot forth from the surface as it swirled around endlessly. There was a hint of blue and black from time to time.

On the other side of the bridge was a door leading to the West. It was a little bit faint, but Lincoln could hear a slight howling coming from the North-West. He shuddered. It was the same unpleasant howling noise from earlier but it felt closer now somehow.

He glanced over at the bridge and considered his options carefully.

It is now Phase 10. Phase 10 will end in roughly 24 hours from now.

Lincoln thought, crossing the bridge is risky at best. It didn't look secure at all. If the bridge falls he could not survive the drop to the chasm below. That howling sounds like the hounds of hell no way he wants to face that alone. Turning back he will lose one phase but face God knows what thru the East door. The howling is unsettling, a lost phase isn't too bad and besides there is obviously nothing here to take back to the group. They are going to be disappointed that nothing was found. He hopes they found the items in the first chamber where he lost them. His next thought is if I see him I will ## Lynch Carl. But I need to survive to be able to help and logic says going back to the unknown East door is better than facing the bridge and the continuous howling.

But maybe it is to......no Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity makes no mention of reckless stupidity..

Why am I thinking like this, all physical elements point to returning to the East door. Willis is trying to manuver me to where he wants me. Crossing the bridge should not be too hard with my training. And the dog... well you need to face problems when they come up not run from them.

*walks to the bridge and cautiously begins the journey to the other side and the door he will enter* "Time to move on", not back.

## Exit: West
