Background:
Airlea faced rejection from a very early age. She was born into a wealthy family in a city not far from Knossos. Her father longed for a male heir, and as a result of this she was treated with contempt from birth. She chose to abandon her hateful family and ran away from home. Living in the forest instead, she was found by a wolf pack and adopted as a surrogate member.

She learned to hunt and fend for herself in the dangerous wild, becoming a formidable and powerful ranger. But she still retained a tenderness for the natural world, choosing to devote her life to protecting the forest and its animal inhabitants at all costs. She doesn't have a strong dislike for other humans provided they don't threaten her home.

Reason for Joining:
A darkness began to flow over Crete unexpectedly. This dark magic seeped into the forest, polluting the land and the trees. The wildlife was rapidly becoming endangered with animals dying unexpectedly. The source of the dark power seemed to be emanating from the Labyrinth, not too far from the forest.

Airlea traveled to the palace in order to speak with Minos directly about the situation. Upon arriving she was informed that Minos intended on sending a group of heroes to the Labyrinth in order to investigate the strange happenings. Believing that Willis was responsible for the darkness, Airlea decided to join them.
