Giving the door release a firm push, Tyrese stepped through the Southern exit into a room that was surprisingly bright for the Labyrinth. There was a strange smell to the air of this one though.
Laid out on a desk in front of him were a series of glass vials. They contained chemicals of different colours and consistencies. There was a set of notes on the table which he walked over to curiously. Beneath his feet, a stone canal moved from the North to the South of the room, passing through a small iron gate at the bottom of the Northern and Southern walls.
As he reached the table, he felt something sink beneath his foot. Nervously, his eyes darted around looking for a sign of danger. A small panel in the wall opened, letting loose a pungent smelling gas. Before he could react, Tyrese had already breathed in a good dose of it.
He began to cough frantically. The coughing fit was quite intense and went on for some time. Before he knew what was what, he had fallen to the floor and was still coughing. Finally it stopped, but he noticed a spot of blood on the floor near where he'd coughed.
He had no idea what that stuff was, but he felt very, very weak. He tried to stand but felt his feet give way beneath him. He reached for the table and upended a few empty glass beakers. They shattered on the ground below. He was finally able to focus just enough to read the notes on the table. The words were blurring, but he tried his best anyway.
"If you breathed in the gas, it may be too late already. It's a very very potent poison that works extremely fast. My most effective batch yet."
Tyrese stopped reading to let that sink in for a moment. This wasn't good at all.
"There is a remedy that can be made with the chemicals you see in front of you. The problem is that the chemicals must be mixed in a very, very specific order. If the wrong one is put in at the wrong point, the remedy will fail and you will surely die. You only have one shot to mix it right."
"What's the order? That would be telling. There are a few things I can tell you though."
Tyrese blinked, trying to take it all in. It was signed by Willis at the bottom. He flipped back over to the page with the clues written out. Then he turned it over to the back to check if he'd missed anything. There was nothing else. It would have to do. He looked down at the desk where six chemicals sat in test tubes next to an empty beaker. He just had to get them in the right order. They were in different colours each. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. Once more he turned back to the clues and read them out again.
"#1: The green chemical must be mixed in immediately after the red one.
#2: The number of the step in which you mix the red chemical, is an odd number.
#3: The purple chemical must be mixed in immediately before the yellow one.
#4: The orange chemical is not one of the last three to be mixed in.
#5: The blue chemical must be mixed in some time before you mix in the red chemical, but some time after you mix in the orange chemical.
#6: The last chemical that you need to mix in is not the green one."
They were very vague...but they were all he had. He needed to work out which order to put them in.
It is now Phase 68. Phase 68 will end in roughly 24 hours from now.
Objectives:
You must choose the order you want to mix the chemicals in. They are mixed together in a series of steps, numbered 1-6. Once you have worked out the order, post the series of steps along with the colour you want to mix in at each step. For instance:
1 - Red
2 - Orange
3 - Yellow
4 - Green
5 - Blue
6 - Purple
Once you're set on the order, post ##Mix: Chemicals.
You only have one chance to mix them correctly. If you mix them incorrectly, the poison will take hold and kill you. You will be cured if you mix them correctly.
