Leaving the red room behind, Tyrese moved to the Southern exit and pushed open the door, watching the stone canal at his feet as it passed down through the Southern wall. It carried on to the South of the room beyond too, though there was no exit on that side. There was an exit to the West but it was locked, leaving only one way out of the room, back North.
This room had a strange feel to it. It was a standard size but it seemed like it was more open than it was. The light from above made it look like a red sky was shining down on the ground, giving everything a sinister, other-worldly feel. It reminded Tyrese how things had looked up on the surface, back when they'd gone out beyond so long ago.
A statue of a man with his arms outstretched was standing in the middle of the floor. He had a pained expression on his face and was pushing forth on a boulder. The boulder didn't seem to be another part of the sculpture though. It was sat at the foot of a steep incline that led to a small opening in the wall at the top. And it was covered in blood. Tyrese stepped around it, looking for the source and that's when he saw her.
Queen Genevieve's broken and battered body lay by the side of the statue. She looked like she'd been crushed. It wasn't hard to see where the blood on the boulder had come from. He stepped carefully aside in case there was more where that had come from.
It is now Phase 66. Phase 66 will end in roughly 24 hours from now.
