"All set?" Asked Peter as he looked to the others. There were nods of approval.
"Okay. Here goes..." He said, shutting his eyes and thinking of home. This world had no place for him. Much better to get back to a time he knew. A time he was familiar with. As he thought of home, sparks around him danced and twisted.
"It's working!" Said Hobert cheerfully.
Peter nodded, still concentrating. Then he opened his eyes slowly. A swirling vortex was standing in front of him. He braced himself and took a big step into the purple light and was soon travelling through a strange violet corridor. All around him his body twisted and moved in strange ways.
Finally he came to a stop and was standing rather unsteadily on the edge of a pit. Minotaur statues looked down fiercely into it. He crept over to the edge, almost toppling over onto the spikes below. Time travel was disorienting. Behind him the other four appeared one by one and Peter drew his attention to the room layout.
There was a path to the South across the top of the pit where a locked door moved out East. The room was twice the length of a standard room. Another exit moved out West on the Northern side. About halfway down the wall was the chalk message, still fresh.
"HA HA! SCUM FAILS"
And laying in the pit were the three bodies laying amongst rubble and broken stone. They were looking a tad worse for wear now. Hobert crept over and looked at them fascinatedly. All three of them had entered in here with him. Parker, Ezra and Emperor Fong.
It is now Phase 62. Phase 62 will end in roughly 24 hours from now.
