You feel something materialize in your pack. You're not sure if it'll be worth the pain you went through but...well...just maybe...

You lift out a small paper scroll. There's a key attached to the end of it which you separate. Underneath both of these is a peculiar pair of gloves. They're fairly hefty, but they move through the air like silk. They seem to radiate a strange energy.

You unravel the scroll.

As swift as lightning you feel them do their work, but you come away empty-handed.

So Pollux... If I got the chalk again, could I use the other side of the scroll to write a message and show it to someone?

(You can't write on the scroll with anything unfortunately)

Phase 25 Results:
You lift the two items carefully into your pack.

(Nope. You can use it as of now. The item itself will explain when it can't be used in the description. The green name thing is merely for the sake of portal creation.)

Nope. Sorry it took so long to see this. Been out all day.

Phase 25 Actions:

You raise the orb from your pack and look on as a bright light flashes from the surface.

Something lurks two rooms West, one room South.

Phase 25 Results:

You hand the staff over.

(It's a path)

Phase 27 Actions:

You place the gloves on your hands and fish around stealthily. You finally give up, withdrawing miserably.

You failed to steal anything.

Phase 27 Actions:

You fish the orb from your pack and hold it outward as it begins to emit a strange energy.

Something lurks four rooms West.

Phase 28 Results:

You feel inside your pack and notice something is missing. The orb has disappeared.

Phase 28 Results:

You have received a pair of gloves.

Phase 30 Actions:

You place the gloves on your hands and fish around stealthily. You finally give up, withdrawing miserably.

You failed to steal anything.
