The words of voice Sophia heard is interesting. My gut instinct is to have the traitor be hurt, because traitors should be punished, except I don't know who the traitor is or who/what they betrayed.

We don't know if someone betrayed someone or something in their past and the voice is targeting that aspect of them. I wonder if we can save our pick for later.

Dennis says there's a tower to the northwest of us. There are stairs in the room Arimnestos entered and they touch the southern wall of the labyrinth. I wonder if the guardians are at cardinal directions in the labyrinth.

It's symbolic that way if the guardians were placed like that. It also puts a lot of distance between one guardian and the next, making people go all over the place to find them all. If I was designing a place like this, that's what I'd do.
