It wouldn't be public and I can't use the staff anyway.
As I see it you can either trust me (tell me what I could possibly do wrong?) or disobey Roth and wait 10 phases. |
What kind of danger is there in allowing the staff to be passed? Surely anything that would be done with it that could possibly have a negative effect on us all would be something we would all notice. And if it does something that dangerous, I think the fact that you are keeping it vague is a bit troubling. |
If everyone here starts revealing what their items do I will. It would not be a good idea at all but whatever I guess. Some people here seem more concerned about the shades amongst us finding out information to do with the Key to Pandora's Box (why exactly we want shades to know that is very confusing to me). Roth gave me the key to protect it. I will do that to the best of my ability and will not pass it to someone I met less than 24 hours ago. |

I'm concerned with knowing what we're getting into. If half of us are going to be relying on you and your staff for their safety and fates, they deserve more than hints and cryptic explanations. You're asking us for a lot of faith here.
And as far as I know, no one else has an item besides Urk's chalk. |

I certainly do not want to be the one pressing the issue, but half of our time has expired and we very much need to come to a decision.
Is there any way Kristoff you can pass off the staff for inspection? I believe this was Eleanor's idea originally. Someone suggested Ezra, myself, or both of us (as current leaders in votes) to review it. If there became an issue and someone was not handing it back over to you, we would have more than enough time and reason to perform a lynch. Resulting in you picking up the staff after the person has been killed.

Perhaps there is some alternative to passing it. I cannot use it right now but perhaps if I tried purple sparks might fly out? (or at least some flavor to prove its existence and the fact it does not work. I would have to speak to Willis) |
Just because the staff works doesn't mean that it'll do what you say it'll do. If you pass it on and we can read what it does to verify its purpose and its existance.

Alright. I think I'll be staying in the present. As fun as time travel sounds, we can't all go, can we? Someone has to stay here and carry on in the present. And I just can't place blind faith in someone because they came in accompanying a great man. I can't place that much blind faith in another human being.

No one thinks that it's interesting that Stonehard might be able to use the staff?
I told us earlier that he was resistant to magic and was the weakest member of his clan.
If we elect him as leader he will then gain confidence and might be able to use the staff. Since the staff will activate when Kristoff "gains confidence" by being elected as a leader ...

Though i cannot stop people from joining him, i strongly urge those who follow to remember, you need time travel to get to theseus, not kristoff himself. Perhaps i am allowing my general distrust of socialized people to cloud my judgment. However, remember that the staff is the key to the box. If kristoffs intentions are not pure then he might seek to open it for himself. Finally, if you folks traveling back do run into theseus, be wary of who gets his sword, and try not to let both sword and staff fall into the same hands. That path can only leed to disaster. |

Basically none of us know who is good or evil. Evil potentially knowing what the staff can do will make Kristoff an unnecessary target and if a bad guy knew the description of the staff it would create more harm than it's worth to just wait until it activates later. |

I have been listening for a while and I have decided it my place to speak.
I understand Kristoff's hesitation to pass off his staff. He is giving up what he believes is a crucial item towards Victory over Willis.
I am not one who trusts easily but believe that Kristoff is what he says he is. I am not sure if it is in my fate to journey back to the past but I will weigh my options and make my decision in due time. |

The way I see it, this arguing is pointless. Everyone has their opinions and knows the pros and cons of each decision they could make. If you want to go with Kristoff, then do it. If you don't, then go with Lee or Ezra (unless Ezra steps down, then go with Lee).

Sooo I just got done reading through everything. I think people are making this harder then what it has to be. Kris wont give anybody else the staff to check it out and I didnt see any explanation of how it works anywhere. Sooo really you are just rolling the dice with him. I mean from what he said is that he has died twice now before. Why would I want to follow somebody who dies all the time? Also Brit you say you are following him just cause he said more people will die if they dont. I could easily write that if you follow him then more people will die. In all honesty you dont know.
