Most think Carl stole the staff. I can see this as a possibility.

The staff having one shot truth and inventory verification powers is useful, but keeping them so secret might not have helped you. You could've said they were non-aggressive before this mess. Carl probably would've taken it anyway if his goal was to obtain it, broken or not, and we came with you because we wanted to go to the past so of course we would ask when the staff could be used again. Don't even try to blame us. You're the one who spoke.

I know the staff is super important, but I'm not teleporting right now to try to get it. My full powers are still not back. Carl could shoot me for all I know. I'm not going by myself.

We could have some people use a portal to go to that room. Even if Carl leaves at the end of the phase, we might be able to track him.

That chest Kristoff's after exists in both times. Or maybe not. Kristoff needs to word his sentences better.
