I do not see reason for anyone to know, but you may try convince me.
My role has nothing to do with game related stuff. It is not connected to any beasts, Cerberus or other creatures. |
Long live our Soviet motherland,
Built by the people's mighty hand.
Long live our people, united and free.
Strong in our friendship tried by fire.
Long may our crimson flag inspire,
Shining in glory for all men to see.

I said that if Queenie met us again she might not like to see me. As in I assumed she would try and scratch us with her little paws, which might prove bit unsuccessful.
I can assure you I am no butcher. I have no idea why you would think it was me.
I went under scan for exactly this reason. I knew people are going to mistrust me based on my decision to hide my role. Perhaps even accuse me of being scum for not wanting to reveal.
Is clean scum hunter scan not enough for you Kristoff?
You can all agree with my secrecy after game. My role is not informative. It is not related to guardians or any game mechanic in game. So there is no reason for you to know my role. It will not help us in any traditional way to win game, but it might help defend us against scum who would try and stop us.
I dont want scum to know all roles, that way they can plan who to kill first. Who would be best killed first. They do not know if they want me dead first, or last. I want to keep it that way. No need to make things easy for them.
Only bad things like I said before will come of my claim. Scums that are left (we know at least one is left who shot Angela) can come up with better plans to eliminate us all. But with uncertainties like my role, perhaps they will be less willing to execute daring plans, which might result in their demise.

Nothing to do with game related stuff? Than what could it possibly be related to? We're in a game.

Wo says there is even one? You don't need to be a butcher to kill and I don't even know if there was one in Lab 2 anyways. No point in assuming a role exists because if someone is a butcher it hardly matters. I that instance all I would need to know is they are scum and all scum die. | Don't judge a book by its cover. |

So you now saying that your role can protect against scum doesn't make you think they would try and kill you?
For all we know you are scum anyways. I don't trust anyone who has been scanned good. It's a lie detector, not a scum hunter and the group even said there are ways to get around it and that posting the win condition for town wasn't even foolproof so I don't trust you based on that. I trust people who have proven it. Bottom line. | Don't judge a book by its cover. |

Mareks scan is hardly fool proof but its a good point. It is still unnerving if you have a role which sounds like it could also harm town if you wanted. You also weren't the shooter so it seems unlikely. I would hope we only have 1 scum left too. | ------------

They do not know how protective it is or if I am just lying. Would they risk losing their lives in process? Would they risk revealing themselves as scum if they where killing roleless person? I doubt it. Scum want to know all possibilities before striking, no? Knowing more roles minimizes danger of their plan failing.
Lie detector would detect if I was lying, correct? I said I would win if I or any other player with my win condition release guardians and bring their items plus sword to Willis tower. This was proven to be true statement by Lie detector. I was not forced to say those words so how could it have failed?
I am not forcing you to trust me just believe me, keeping either my very useful or very useless role might help in future if scum decides to make move.

Hobert is right in saying we do not know for sure if there is butcher, that is too much metagaming. We cant say anything for certain based on previous games.
But for correctness, there was butcher in lab2. |

But Mark and the others from that group even said there are loopholes in the process of the lie detecting/ "scumhunting" and that using the town objectives wasn't the best way to go about it though it could be efficient. I was just pointing that out. Not saying you doing it didn't clear you, but they did say those things. | Don't judge a book by its cover. |

I remember Lee or Urk saying that whole "passage" (I am unsure of what to call it) was best way to do lie detect test? That was reason I picked that to say.
I am not sure what possible loopholes are. Perhaps Mark or Eleanor can tell us more about it, it is useless to debate this without all information. |
