oh..wait a moment
the creature. the one that is near by. i know the room that its in right now
you could check that room. and sEE what the creature is? |
oh. my mistake. i do not know the number of the room. it is east of 4889 |
looking at airlea's map. this room is 3620. the one with the balcony. if you search that room now you may see the creature |
The balcony overlooks 5230. I'm not seeing 3620, where is that one? But yes, it may be possible to see what creature is in the room if I scan it.
|
oh
*rubs head*
my mistake again. i recorded the wrong number. i dont know where i got 3620 from -_- |
|
east
dock
north
south under bridge
east to land
|
|
hm. a bit different from what i remembered
*scratches head*
we immediately moved east from 9238? that is very odd. i do not sEE how thats possible. i thought we went north for awhile and then went east.
then it mentions the dock. which is actuallY where we are right now. this old fishing dock.
after that we turned north a bit. met the monster. and then turned southwards under a bridge.
*traces finger along map*
and then east. to 7564.
*scratches head*
strange |
There is the bridge in 1218, but then if the canal moves that low into the map it doesn't make sense how the dry canal is seen in room 9036 in the future.
|
*nods*
that is what i was thinking. when i think i have solved the river in the past. thats when i realize it cannot make sense in the future.
its all quite confusing. |
|
Yawn.
What did I miss at end of last phase? |
|
|
oh
*rubs head*
my mistake again. i recorded the wrong number. i dont know where i got 3620 from -_- |
I'll hold off posting my scan for a bit. Let me know if you have a number you want checked.
|

*scratches behind ear with foot*
..
OH. i recall now.
from your future scans. 3620. do you sEE it? it is a room at a corner.
it fits very well with east of 4889. that may be the same room.
you also have it marked that there is a shuttle above 3620. or something. there is both the balcony and black shuttle right next to it. so maybe that has to do with it. *shrugs*
you could try to check 3620 again to see if the creature is there. which would confirm that it is the room east of 4889. it is up to you! :goodtimes: |
|
That was the room I scanned last phase.
The past room is described as an unusual shape. It's the size of 3 standard rooms, basically 1 standard room with another standard room attached to the west and another attached to the south. Exits in all 4 directions (which does seem to fit with a more centrally located room) North exit set on the western half of the north wall and east exit set into the northern half of the east wall. It's also unstable in that while I was scanning it a large rock fell from the ceiling and crashed onto the ground.
In the future it is the size of one room, it has a metal floor with a metal grate that leads to a dip in below the floor. There are exits south and west. Then it describes the upper part of the room as a platform high above that is also the size of a standard room. It leads off from the north wall. And there doesn't seem to be a way to climb up there. It then says on the platform top a metal floor leads to an exit at the east.

Here you go!
|
The boat began to jolt unsteadily, moving towards the East of the vast watery expanse. It was also gaining in speed tremendously. They held on carefully. It was gliding past more land. One of the chunks of land had another wooden dock on it but the details were hard to make out from here. As they looked on in horror, a skeletal shape stalked across it. It glanced over at the group in the boat, shrieked horribly and vanished in a flash of purple.
"I'm getting sick of those guys." Said Culo miserably.
They carried on moving, veering slightly North now until the boat ground to a sudden stop.
"Now what?" Said Ezra, rolling his eyes. Boone was still pointing frantically at the water. This time, Marek followed his gaze and looked down. There was an enormous scaly eye, staring up at them.
"WATCH OUT!" He shouted as the boat shook with a tremendous crash.
There was a reptilian roar from the water, followed by a huge splash. Over their collective heads arced something long and scaly. It seemed to go on for an eternity. Along its back were a number of spines and fins. It cleared the boat and splashed down hard into the water, a fish-like tail submerging in its wake.
There was another rumble as the head of the beast shot out of the water. It roared at the group. It was a dark blue with green hues, scaled along like a lizard. Its reptilian eyes took in the group carefully and it roared once more, revealing an enormous set of razor sharp fangs below a serpent-like tongue. Without warning, the beast lashed forward at the group but at the very last second it stopped.
It froze completely still, looked on at the assembled, let out a huge roar and submerged with a mighty splash. The force of the wave carried the boat forward once more.
"What the hell was that?" Blurted out Kane. The boat was moving of its own accord once more. It veered Southwards and came across a high bridge. The water began to narrow here, forming more of a canal. The canal passed beneath the bridge and so too did the boat it was carrying.
Finally it moved Eastwards and came crashing onto land with a thud. The group groaned and picked themselves up. They were in a small recess at the end of the canal. The land here was the size of a regular room. To the South was a locked door but there was another Eastern exit. |
|

I think we had to have moved north initially. I just found this, from the room where the boat was docked:
|
Standing tall and upright and smiling at the peaceful air he turned his gaze back across to the water. It stretched on into the very far distance for what seemed like an eternity. It was really hard to see far because green mists danced across the surface of the rippling lake. But it moved North and it expanded outwards indefinitely. The door to the East was set into an alcove about the size of a stadard room. This alcove had a Northern door as well. He turned around and saw that the wall on the South-side extended to the West. It joined the high Western wall which extended up to the ceiling.
And directly West of the small stretch of land he stood on was a dock. It was wooden and decaying and very ancient-looking. The dock moved out into the water. There was a medium-sized wooden boat with oars along the sides docked at the end of it. |
|
|
Hey Boone, why did you shrink 9880?
Also, it's not that I absolutely hate everyone from my old group and want to leave them forever, it was just something I said when I was emotionally distraught...I didn't want to leave you guys, I wanted to stop living. |
|
The past of 4889 was 2 standard rooms, the future is only one. I'm working on splitting my maps now that I have more info. That will take me a while, but as soon as I have them done I will repost them.
If you want me to recheck that room, I can. |
|
Are we putting the splitting up idea on hold for a few phases? |
|

i think that room is very likelY east of 4889 then.
the upper parts. they make my head hurt. if there are enough upper parts then i may have to make a third map for it.
that will be a blast. |
|
|
Hey Boone, why did you shrink 9880? |
people had pointed out the waterways note that we found. 9880 was indented like that in the past. but not the future.
according to the map anyway. |

I have tried to avoid that thought but we probably do need to face it eventually. I lost hope when scans showed rooms were very different from past to future. That's when the fun really began.
I'll check it again to see if there is anything new about them.
|
|
i just tried to plug that room into the map. the past version of 3620. i thought it was working perfectly. but there is a problem
the southern exit would lead into 2830. but we were in 2830. unless i am mistaken there was no northern exit from it.
so that may not be the right room |

i suppose its not worth it. i dont sEE how it could be the same room now unless i messed up dimensions elsewhere.
i would just try a random number :goodtimes: |
|
Just caught up now.
I think it's definitely for the best splitting up at least for a bit to cover more ground.
The biggest issue is, we need to find out who Frederick has his follow on. I have a few phases saved myself, but not all of them. Frederick is inactive and unfortunate with that is one of our biggest assets. Ill look through my notes and see if I have his follow, but people like Airlea, Kristoff, Eleanor need to be in his group so that we can get as much information as possible.
Unfortunately the twin role is dead here with Wilt but that also provided cross labyrinth contact with Frederick on site. |
|
hm.
*thinks*
what we could do is. one group could teleport now with the staff. then go east. that would put them in that teleport room. and they can try to get into the mystery room.
the other group can go down to the dark water. EAch group will get there at the same time. then we can meEEt back up if we want :goodtimes:
or. since everything is so close. we can remain as one group and look at both place together. it will take a few more phases |
|
I think we need more time together. I'm not saying we stay together but I think it's best to have a little more time as a big group. I'll say it again, I just think it's smart to all see the guardian together first. We don't know what it will take to release it so the more people the better. |
|
We can't use the staff again until next phase, Boone.
I do agree with Mark that it's probably for the best to split up, at least for a little while. We can cover much more ground that way, and as long as we have the walkies, we can still share information. |
|

i was worried about that. what is the coOol down? two phases?

Staying together longer also gives the scumhubter more time to check people. Spending a few more phases securing ourselves would be more beneficial. |

That's why I said when you open it nothing happens. It says it glows and then nothing happens and the flavour closes it. I found it in a box.
That's what I said, but about Willis when he updated me. Then I told Pollux not to turn to the dark side, but I don't think he listened...because he became awfully snotty in my journal. I think it's something in the water...
|
|

Im sure the bottle has a practical use later on. I doubt it unfreezes because that would mean having to find 4 items then 4 guardians and a sword. Thats iffy at best fairness wise. |
|
Ok, maps again. (sorry)
1328 is 8 spaces from the right side of the map in the future and 9 spaces from the right in the past. But, in looking at the parchment map it's shown as being 7 spaces from the right, which actually lines up well with the upper part of the map if you take the river room 7564 away. :\ It also lines up when you compare the pic of the bridge that is drawn on the parchment, and the boat on the left side by 9238, which makes me think even more that 7564 is closer to where the second boat is drawn on the parchment. |
|
I suppose it'd be ok to put 3 men on the girl team but I really don't need a protector.
I'm willing to protect everyone myself if I can.
I'll try to at least. |

But how would the Girl Power team work with the role boosting deal? I have to admit I'd prefer to keep that ability, scanning twice as many rooms at a time has been great. The sad part is realizing how much further into my list I could be had I been able to do that all along. |

Before I check out for a few hours, I am strongly for us sticking together until we find out what happens in the Arches room. At that point, we should only split up if we have a firm and solid plan in place.
We have not been given a time limit, so speed is not necessarily the most important thing at this point. Splitting up risks two lives every exit, potentially dwindling our numbers much more rapidly. I am willing to take that risk if everyone else is, but I've always thought that there was strength in numbers.
Slow and steady, friends.

Just two cents for when we split up, if any of the rooms Airlea has seen have any sort of balconies or "edges"- I should probably be in the group that goes to them. |

Anymore questions for the voice? |
|
Ask it if it's the same person/thing behind my occasional voices if you can Walton.
and I agree that we should stick together until at least one guardian is released. We might cover more ground split up, but you never know what can happen in here, the rooms can be shifted again maybe, and it might be harder to get back together. Plus, slow and steady wins the race. If we split up we might encounter those red rooms again where two people are forced to face each other. That can't happen if we all stick together.
Not that I think anyone cares for my opinion now because of who I am though :( |

Not only that but scum wandering around unseen causing mischief isn't a huge concern. Everyone in the maze is here.

I didn't think of this. This one would make a lot of sense as well.
Let's all try and predict what Urk is next phase. |

Urkan Dictionary would be fun. |

Kim Jong Urk was one of my favourites by far. |

well I mean I know sometimes a man will take a teenage boy as a lover in a sort of active/passive relationship.
But I-
I-
well I never really heard about this in regards to women.
You know women are almost always passive and there to please the man and...
I just had a hard time rationalizing that against my own feelings...
of...
well nevermind. |
|
I would totally support Sophia/Mark if I wasn't like 86% sure he's gay. #Honesty15Minutes |

Leos is still the only man for me. Marks my homie. |

That's actually a pretty good question. |

No. Women need to be aggressive and control men because men are mostly stupid |

I've never really had a desire to control or be controlled by men...
weirdly enough.
It's something that made wearing the mask and pretending to be a man a lot easier. |
|
I wore the pants in the relationship.
For example, he exited first whenever I wanted to exit first so I exited the other way. We bickered for a few pages before he finally gave in. Also, I proposed to him. |

Not all women are passive and there to please men. :)
It just looks that way sometimes.
Men don't always let us do things like they do, so sometimes we have to do things in different ways to get what we want. They think we're just there to please them, but it turns out we're pleasing ourselves. |

she was beautiful but my devotion to her was because she was a queen and i felt she needed to be protected.
