How do you actually "stay behind" when time is reversed?

Items are moved to where they were before, people who died are reborn, people who were healed are unhealed.

Say he died from being lynched.

Everyone goes back a phase to before the lynch... and he... doesn't go back?

That doesn't really make sense in any conceivable light.

Him going back is what heals him dying.

Whether by trap or by lynch or by someone cutting him with a sword.

Him not going back would essentially mean he doesn't come back to life at all.

I'll just say if I lost my ability and scum thought they had it made when they got mine I would for sure play that power immediately make the scum scum again and then lynch them.

and then maybe push Fredrick into that room with someone useful with a less useful role and then end that dependence too.

(Ok I'll draw out a plan but we need to nearly meet up again which I think is in 10 - 15 phases? to pull this off. But it gives enough time to get ready.)

Urk is right, Mark doesn't travel back with us if he's killed.

Probably because it was originally a scum role and if you lynched scum and time got reversed...it'd be pretty pointless if you could just do it again.

And I absolutely agree on the "Mark is suspicious" front. My suspicion on him has never ceased since the role switch.

Both of Mark's scanned quotes had loopholes in them, as Culo pointed out in his dying words. Mark quickly dismissed Culo's comments and wrote it off as Culo being his usual bloodthirsty self. I mean, yeah, Culo was as bloodthirsty as anyone I've ever met, but writing off his very legitimate points about Mark's quotes didn't sit right with me at all.

(It's sad Rita, we ignored Culo for being so Culo. :3)

(Another thing, does the rope disable passive abilities?)

hmm, that's a good question.

I guess it could but it could very well not.

(Wait, there is a much better plan, They can tie Mark up, lynch him and if he survives Airlea should use the bow to finish him off, perfect.)

That's if they can decide he's bad news or not without Mark knowing.

Since he does hold the rope.

Andrael could also stop the lynch if he isn't convinced.

Alright then...

I guess it'd be best to lynch him in a room that has been waited in a phase for some reason then.

I'd like to know the things he said though for certain.

I don't suppose any here are the recording types.

(or just kill him, it doesn't matter, he can't escape the bow.)

I still win if we find the guardians and the sword.

^ the loophole in this one is that all he said is "I still win". Sort of like saying "I still can win". He never says anything about bringing them to Willis' tower. It may not seem like much, but he said this right after Marek revealed his role and demanded that he scan it, refusing to reveal his new role until Marek did so. Why wouldn't he just post the actual role condition that's in the gameplay guide? It just seems a bit calculated.

I'm not finding the other one, but I do remember it being something equally, if not more shaky.

I'm not sure I agree with lynching him on sight though. I do think we should feel free to kill him when the resets are advantageous, though. I assured him that I'd never do so without his consent, but that was really just to calm him down. I was very tempted to hatchet him when it could've brought back Wilt and Eleanor.

When I broached the idea he threw a tantrum, flat-out refusing to let us and even threatened to run away with the staff if anyone touched him.
