I know I regretted sacrificing that book when the result really wasn't that great.

May be best to only volunteer for this if you're willing to pay the price.

This game is designed to play on greed and only absolute humility and sacrifice will play the game in our favor.

I really can't decide.

On one hand, those lives really would be useful to save for traps. Once they're gone, people will start dying. I can't even bear the thought of that...helplessness. Not knowing if it'll be the last time we see the person exiting first alive, each and every time we leave a room. I know it's bound to happen eventually, but I'd like to prolong the inevitable as long as we can.

On the other, there's that lingering intrigue about the chest. There must be some good reason the monster is guarding it so ferociously, some reason it's in a room that only exists in the future, right? Whatever it holds could end up saving more lives than we would've lost. Who can say?

I am in total support of whatever you two decide. I trust you two to make the right decision. There are honestly good reasons for either.

Screw the chest, we have enough, good items.

It really is up to Walton and Lee.

It isn't our lives to give.

And the items would go to the one who lost a life to be fair.

This is perhaps true.

I could go either way.

But it feels unseemly to debate the potential sacrifices of others without putting ones own hat in the ring...

sadly I'm not prepared to do just yet.

I will have to be in support of leaving this one to lee and walton.

(also i may not be too active this phase. My girlfriend just dumped me and im having a bit of trouble keeping myself together.)
