In all honesty with Helm no longer a map maker, Airlea and Boone need to be split up when we do split up :\ |

Don't even, I was the nicest one about you in StoneGroup the entire time.
The staff is mine though now. |

Lol I know its all in jest. Who were the doubters aside from Brie? Angela? Ezra? Most of the living people I thought were fine with me... |

Everyone hated you tbh, even when I said you were just a harmless trap checker -shrug- |
|
I hope your group knows it is profiteering from Carl's evil and illegal crimes. |
|
i have enjoyed working with airlea :goodtimes:
it would be a shame to split after this. i did think about that with the maps.
everyone should try to keep a map if they can |
|
i didnt say one bad thing about you or your group
i was almost one of you |
|
It's alright Kristy, we love you guys
Except Hobert, Pokemon was so 2003. |
|
You guys could actually be the walkie people. Would make a lot of sense. Highly trusted and mapmakers. Ik Mark/Sophia will wanna be those people though. |

Yeah ever since I went Piers Morgan on Hobert and exposed him he hates me too.

Uhhh not me!
I think Ezra was the biggest rallier of the anti-Kristoff sentiment. |
|
You ok with the rope not in use Kristoff? No one really responded when I asked at the beginning of the phase.
|
|
Good Rita! And yeah... evil people always hate me. |
|
Who do you think it should be used on? |
|
what about this plan? to teleport to the ? rooOom
how does it work? |
|
- Go to teleport room.
- Someone teleport to the Frozen guardian room.
- Use an item we have and create a portal between teleporter room and guardian room.
- Everyone teleport!
Only problem is if the room is trapped. It didn't seem to be trapped though... |
|
where is the teleport roOom? |

I wondered after Ajax left if it was possible for another person to follow when using that teleporter. Might be worth a try?

Either Walton, Lee, or myself are probably best to go through the portal.
I'd say at least, I only know about half of your groups roles. |

Whoever teleports to the room should take a walkie. |
|
Now that you know more about my role, if you have a particular room you need information on let me know. For the most part I try to check unknown numbers, unless there is a specific place that needs checked. |

It's best not to talk about it or your karma takes a bit of a dip lol. |
|
I have a slight fear that the teleporter might kill the person and just put their body there.
It would be nice to see if Ajax knew the banshee was in that room or if it only appeared because he died. |
|
On the map making note:
I do not think that rooms should be marked as red rooms persay. That seems to more be a thing that happens at certain times in the game, not certain places, seeing as StoneGroup entered the a room CoK had already been in and a red room portal happened. I feel it would almost be more fitting to put in a footnote which phases were red rooms, and who's been sent so far.
As far as guardian searching goes, it is very exciting to finally have leads. I only hope that there is not a key item we are missing that is needed to thaw them out. |

I think sometimes when you enter a red room another appears to scoop up someone else.
But we had seen and were well aware of the red room balagor went into long before we went into it. |

Sadly, from what I have witnessed, the answer is probably "there was an object like that in the last game." |

I am sorry i must have missed when this was mentioned before. How did an as yet untriggered red room look? (i ask for point of curiosity more than anything else.) |

No, but if enough people think I am scum I will |

I have to enter lists of numbers. So I keep track of which I have tried in past/future/both and the rooms we have visited and when. For about 10 phases it wasn't so bad, then we teleported and I realized I had to separate by times lol so I have it color coded.

it seeEms strange that there would be that teleport room directly next to a room with no entrance or exit.

As am I. I came on near the end of the phase to find I was tied up, thought someone had bound me to my place due to not realizing I was tied up, so I thought I would ask to be tied up in the hopes I would not be left behind. Basically a few people thought I killed Angela |

We didn't know the # of the room on the other side however. It is only due to Airlea's role which was purely luck she discovered it. |

I agree with this. assuming things so conveniently laid out like this are a lucky break is like assuming that fishing can't possibly be dangerous in willis' domain. I am not saying we shouldn't give it a shot, but whoever goes should be someone with an extra life. |

that is true. that makes it more fair. |
|
i am still quite interested in checking out 2154 if this does not work.
our mystery room had both metal and stone walls. that is strange. it is just like the room we were in.
something to think about. |
|
|
Why do people think the Tears restore ones ability? |
This is what Hobert posted last phase about them.
|
|
Wait, so then why did people say it was an Elixer? I'm so confused. |
Originally when I got it I said it could be many different things because the hosts were sticking with my Pokemon theme. :P
I'll get the flavour. |
|
It says when I opened it that the jar was strange. It looked like it could have been a super potion, an elixir, or even better a max repel. Says it glowed but nothing happened so I closed the jar.
A run down of those who don't know:
Super potion - heals some hit points (heals injury maybe)
Elixir - restores PP or power points on an attack (restores used ability maybe)
Max Repel - when you go into grass it keeps Pokemon away from you (repels spirits maybe)
So as this goes it could be any of those things and maybe it is even all of those things. Maybe it depends on who opens it. I was not injured and my role was not used when I opened it so maybe it would work if Walton opened it. I have no clue. |

*looks at map*
something must be done about these red roOoms methinks.
i will mark the stationary red rooms as a dark red. most of those are safe by now.
but the phase specific red rooms should not be marked as regular traps. unless they contained a regular trap of course.
so it would be nice to go through which was which |

Maybe it's infinity chalk. Infinite characters. |

future 9284 sophias red room. clear.
future 9238 balagors red room. clear
past 5939 untriggered red room.
if anYone could add to this it would be helpful. only for stationary red rooms. not phase ones

Airlea suggested not to at the end of the phase. Kristoff, I have been with you for several phases, what reason do you believe me to be evil? |

were balagors and sophias red rooms the ones that were the room itself. or phase specific? |
|
I wonder if Medusa's Tears are the offering that Neptune wants?
I just found this. They seem to have a... history together.
|
Medusa, originally a beautiful young woman whose crowning glory was her magnificent long hair, was desired and courted by many suitors. Yet before she could be betrothed to a husband, Poseidon (Neptune) found her worshipping in the temple of Athena (Minerva) and ravished her. |

in the future?
is this the guardian that kristoff mentioned? |
No, we don't know the location of that one yet, but we know it's there. It's in the future and the room has no exits. 3 walls are metallic, 1 is stone. The room is very bright and white. |
:surprised: :surprised: :surprised:
original group. are yOU thinking what i am?? |
That is instantly what I thought of.
2 phases ago, we had rough ideas of where we was going. Now, we have solid leads.
Since both our leads on 2 of the guardians are both at the far corners of the map, I am going to assume that the other 2 are in the far corners too.
Leaving us with the unexplored Eastern area from 7564*, and the completely unexplored south western area.
|
|
What is n 2154? The stone room? Airlea can check it if needed.... |
|
So we plan to split in 1218*
One group goes North and heads for the sluice gate/storm, and the other heads south, recovers the treasure, and heads toward the pink shuttle to check out 2154.
We should probably sort the teams out now instead of rushing it next phase.
I know Sophia and Mark are both quite eager to open up a line of communication again, and I am not opposed to this, but others might be.
They served us well when they had a link together, so maybe they would make a good choice.
It is better that we nominate though.

What is n 2154? The stone room? Airlea can check it if needed.... |
Yes. The room with two Northern exits, one steel, one stone.
|
|
As I said earlier, I think its better Boone and Airlea are split as they are the main map makers. I would support them holding the walkies. I think my role would be best to be the one exploring the SW. |

What is n 2154? The stone room? Airlea can check it if needed.... |
Yes. The room with two Northern exits, one steel, one stone.
|
I am confused why you think there is a guardian there exactly. |
|
Actually, that thing about the map makers seems fair.
They are both trusted too. |
|
Did you guys ever go up the stairs? |
|
map makers having walkies sounds fair.
|
|

Yes. The room with two Northern exits, one steel, one stone.
|
I am confused why you think there is a guardian there exactly. |
Ok...
So if 2154 only exists in the past, but has 2 northern exits in what appear to be both timelines, then one of those exits would not lead north back to 9683*, but would lead somewhere else entirely.
Some have said it is just a fancy way of time travelling but that doesn't make sense.
The only solution is that the stone door takes us somewhere new.
And in light of your group discovering something similar in a potential guardian location, there are plenty of reasons to suggest we are onto something here.
|
|
I wonder if its a waste of a phase, the people going South, going to 1218*... |
|
|
Did you guys ever go up the stairs? |
No. We was going to, but the pink shuttle sounded more promising.
I wanted to go through the stone door back then though, because I really thought it was a good lead. We all agreed that it was worth noting, and I am glad we did. |
|
I'm comfortable with Boone and Airlea holding the walkies. |
|
|
I wonder if its a waste of a phase, the people going South, going to 1218*... |
I am pretty sure the room we think the treasure in is in the room South of 1218*. |
|
Another thing we need to talk about...
If Boone and Airlea are going to be the walkie holders, which at this point we may as well just state they are going to be, I would like them to pick the groups. (As I have explained, they can talk freely between themselves about who should go in what group.)
I know some have said they would benefit from been with a particular member, following a certain objective etc etc, but I think we can trust Boone and Airlea to take all that into consideration.
We should at least see what they can come up with. |
|
Ohh yes. Got confused between the Past/Future map. So group going to the stone can go to the future through 4889. |
|
I think it might be best to keep group relatively the same. Trust levels, knowledge of roles and items are fairly big issues that changing everything up may confuse. |
|
The South in both dimensions is trap free. Not that I think that is news. |
|
Maybe I should have done one of my special trap announcements since this group hasn't experienced one.... |

I think it might be best to keep group relatively the same. Trust levels, knowledge of roles and items are fairly big issues that changing everything up may confuse. |
This. I was going to say the same thing. I would actually prefer it if we just stayed in the groups we've been in all along. Now that we have the walkie talkies, we can keep the open line of communication.
I trust the group I was with tremendously and knowing there is scum in your group would just make me feel uneasy. At least you guys have more of a lead on the scum then we do. |
|
I suppose we could keep the groups the same.
Though we are a bit smaller if that is the case. Which group should do what? |
|
Walton, I am going to take a look at your voice later. I don't like that it doesn't like me :\
But if you haven't asked it any questions yet, I propose:
1: Which fucker shot Angela?
2: Are we on the right track with the guardians?
3: Does the voice come from another player? |
|
Actually, I think the groups would be as close to even as possible.
Boone
Brie
Eleanor
Frederick
Marek
Mark
Rita
Stonehard Lee
Urk
Walton
Eh, actually they would have 12 and we'd have 10. I guess we would need to have 11/11 split to make it even. Plus, it didn't sound like Brie wanted to stay with us at all. I just think it would make things much more easier. Especially since our original group knows all of our roles I believe. |

I just asked who shot Angela. That seems to be a consensus of the group to be asked.
The voice has never revealed itself to me so I don't think asking if it comes from another player would be good. It did say it would only answer if it felt necessary. |
|
I just figured that there are some roles that would come in handy if they were switched between teams. |

If it can suddenly answer questions, why has it maintained a policy of been vague as fuck and mentally unstable up until now.
|

It will probably be vague with the answers to the questions like always.
Also, I have received the jar. Thank you sir. |

Are we going East from here? Tyrese already exited, correct?
Which room is to the East? |

If people want to split next phase then we won't have time for that. |
|
Thought so. Guess we have to gauge other peoples thoughts on it. |
|
Yeah. I'm very going ho about the groups staying the same. |
|
I wonder if Urk may be more helpful in our group given his role and the fact we are exploring a lot of unexplored territory... |
|
I think Urk would be helpful in either group. Both groups are exploring new territory eventually. |
|
We could also just have a draft. Survivor style schoolyard pick. |

I think mixing the roster a bit could probably do us some good.
I've barely said 2 words to some of you and it would be terrible for you all to just go back to being "that team that is somewhere else right now" |
|
Some of you I really like and would like to talk to more to be completely honest. |
|
I'm with helm on this. I think it would do us good to mix it up again and to maximize each teams potential. I think the only reason not to split up is "I'm more comfortable with my old team" which isn't a terribly strong reason. |
|
I personally liked the idea of "Team Girl Power" |

We could stay together longer to get checked. |

If you guys want to split then what would be the best way to do so? |

Also, the voice responded to my question by saying that it didn't know exactly who but it wasn't Andrael that killed Angela. It referred to the quote of "The least expected should be the most expected" once again. |

The voice said it knows of two people that it probably is and that you wouldn't expect one of them. Refused to say who. |

I would almost propose mixing up due to the fact that our group really kind of started to fall activity wise. Some new faces might keep things interesting. |

Glad to know I'm not alone in this thinking. |
|
I think that means we all need to be checked. |
|
And also, I don't mean to say this to cast doubt any anyone from StoneGroup, but it's possible win conditions could have changed due to whatever is lurking in this place. If there was anything else like those 2 statues, just something weird, it would be beneficial to re-check people after we go through the CoKs |
|
Friends, today has proven to be very busy. I apologize for my lack of participation/input since yesterday. I will be back to proper form late tonight. |

I'm just thinking that at this point since you guys have been cleared, least suspected could mean one of you guys. But maybe I'm reading too much into the voice. |

You are welcome!
I am all fine with being scanned. Whomever wants to can scan me first if need be |
|
A question for the scum hunting group:
You know I have collected a fair amount of room information over the course of 45 phases. I have been encouraged to share the room scans but have hesitated doing that for fear it would reveal something to scum that they may be searching for independently of our goal. So my question is, knowing what you do about their actions, win conditions, whatever, do you feel it's best that info is only shared among a few people or do you think it would be safe to share openly?
I am probably more paranoid simply because we haven't (or hadn't) found scum for a very long time and even then, I feel it's likely there are more than 1 in our group. I felt it was better to be cautious with info but am curious to know your opinions. |

It never hurts to be cautious. Perhaps it's best to share with someone from your original group and maybe someone or someones from my group who you have trust/faith in. I think it would be useful for some of the "good" to have the info for the journey. Those people could guide their groups, without necessarily revealing much to potential scum. The less they know, the less they have to act on or manipulate with. |

Is there another least suspected person among us? |

wE got a message long ago that was very similar. it said do not trust the least likely. i poo'd my pants. because it makes it sound like me.

i did not kill angela :goodtimes:

I'm embarrassed to admit how many posts we had in the silence room. :$ Seems we are rarely short of things to say or in that case *act out*. |
|
i trust and enjoy all in my group. i will happilY stick with them if that is what we decide.
mixing the groups up may be beneficial however. such as fred. if fred boOoOsts anyone they should go with him. |
|
Ezra could only kill her if he was a NPC though, no way that somebody dead can still affect active players in the labyrinth. |
|
*thinks*
i saw a list of objectives that were made earlier. do wE still wish to go to the teleport room and attempt to enter the mystery room? that should be done before the pink shuttle |
|
Boone, Airlea...you guys both need to be sharing shit with each other asap.
When you two can talk in private you can look at all the known roles and the most active contributors from each group.
Whilst some of us are leaning towards sticking in the same groups, I think you guys should see if there are any switches that are obviously worth making between the teams. |
|
|

Forgive my not knowing all the workings of your group, but was Ezra very well trusted up to that point?
And is it possible that he, for lack of a better word, infected someone or his role is in use by someone else that would make that connection?
(if these are completely unfounded questions, feel free to ignore. I'll admit I didn't tend to keep up with the who's who over here very well, I was mostly focused on my own notes/maps and group)
|

okay. once i get the walkie talkie then i will do my best :goodtimes:

|
If the tears unfreeze the guardians and they are the only means to do so, wouldn't that render one groups efforts pointless?
I doubt the tears are to do with that.
|
|
It may be better to search for the guardians as a group since the future is so much more dangerous. Just a thought. |
|
I think I could've predicted the voice's exact response. Useless as always! If it wanted to prove its worth to us, it did a terrible job.
I think people are taking the "least expected" quote too literally. I'm sure the voice meant that the killer is someone who is trusted. But then they said the other person isn't someone they wouldn't expect, so it looks like they covered all of their bases! Now if it was someone suspicious they can say "THAT'S who I thought!" and can do the same if it was someone unexpected. |
|

I think the vague responses are evidence that it is an NPC.

Also, since the voice cleared Andrael, and some people think he could be scum, then he could actually be the voice. Not trying to point fingers but who knows. |

The only reason I say it's someone here is because the responses show that it doesn't actually know and there really is no way for a player to know as well. |

should we be taking a poll now?
split up. or stay as one group?

From the outsider's perspective he was trusted. But as soon as Ezra teleported away from us for a few phases, all of our suspicions came out. It turned out half the group had found him suspicious all along.
And no, Ezra didn't have the power to infect people like Tyrese does. |

At the very least I think we don't need to be so eager to split up. I think the current plan is a little premature. Plus the extra time to scan people is useful. I'd honestly like us to at the very least all find one guardian together so we can all be as prepared as possible for whatever it is and work that first one out together. |

this is a good idea. to stay together until wE at least find one.
by then we may have better ideas of where to head to next. and at that point we could split.
we could still use more time together. to build trust and learn information. and have the scanner clear people
we cannot split into the same two groups. or else the scanner can not clear any of the new people |
|
How long would it take for the scanner to scan all of us? |
|
Airlea a walkie should be headed your way at some point. |
|
Well I made my own suggestion on who they should scan first. I'm sure the scanner has suspicions on different people and is much more comfortable with others. So I dunno. I think at least half of us being cleared would raise everyone's comfort levels quite a bit. |
|
|
Airlea a walkie should be headed your way at some point. |
Thank you, I'll update when I have it.
And as long as we aren't wading through 100 pages of posts as a whole group I'm fine with it. I think combining some of our knowledge is going to be very helpful, at least for a while. We can always reevaluate and go from there. |

I don't know. In the stories, he can't be hurt by weapons. That was why Heracles had to wrestle him and Psyche had to give him drugged cakes. |

*unfolds future map*
one thing that i had thought of. it was made clear in the future that the water runs from west to EAst. then it hits the gate.
if we raise the gate. the water will pour in. but it would still run to the east. a boat would not be able to go against the current towards the mystery room.
unless wE think we can change the direction of the current.
maybe we are looking at it backwards. maybe when the gate is open it allows us to go to 7564 at the east end. or somewhere near that.

..
oh yes. *thinks*
it was large but very basic.
stonehard trEE entered first. nothing seemed to be in it. he then stepped on a pressure plate and a cage fell from the ceiling. it trapped him in.
cerberus was approaching so we had to move south without him. it showed no signs of releasing him.
it opened up a phase later and he rejoined us |

Ok, thanks. When I received the scan for that room it said there was a cage that was sturdier than the typical lab bird cages and described chains attached to a mechanism. I have sort of wondered if that could possibly be a way to trap Cerby, but maybe not. |

airlea i cannot think of a number worth checking right now. i saw that you asked earlier. i suppose i would just do it randomly again |

do you have the description of our boat ride? i forgot to record it. it was descriptive in terms of bends in the river and the direction we went in.
i believe we went north. then east. then south. then east again.
but i am unsure.
if you could show me that would be a big help. i will try to adjust the river accordingly.
the same goes for the other group on your boat ride from the opposite end. that may help
thank you :goodtimes: |
|
Here you go!
|
The boat began to jolt unsteadily, moving towards the East of the vast watery expanse. It was also gaining in speed tremendously. They held on carefully. It was gliding past more land. One of the chunks of land had another wooden dock on it but the details were hard to make out from here. As they looked on in horror, a skeletal shape stalked across it. It glanced over at the group in the boat, shrieked horribly and vanished in a flash of purple.
"I'm getting sick of those guys." Said Culo miserably.
They carried on moving, veering slightly North now until the boat ground to a sudden stop.
"Now what?" Said Ezra, rolling his eyes. Boone was still pointing frantically at the water. This time, Marek followed his gaze and looked down. There was an enormous scaly eye, staring up at them.
"WATCH OUT!" He shouted as the boat shook with a tremendous crash.
There was a reptilian roar from the water, followed by a huge splash. Over their collective heads arced something long and scaly. It seemed to go on for an eternity. Along its back were a number of spines and fins. It cleared the boat and splashed down hard into the water, a fish-like tail submerging in its wake.
There was another rumble as the head of the beast shot out of the water. It roared at the group. It was a dark blue with green hues, scaled along like a lizard. Its reptilian eyes took in the group carefully and it roared once more, revealing an enormous set of razor sharp fangs below a serpent-like tongue. Without warning, the beast lashed forward at the group but at the very last second it stopped.
It froze completely still, looked on at the assembled, let out a huge roar and submerged with a mighty splash. The force of the wave carried the boat forward once more.
"What the hell was that?" Blurted out Kane. The boat was moving of its own accord once more. It veered Southwards and came across a high bridge. The water began to narrow here, forming more of a canal. The canal passed beneath the bridge and so too did the boat it was carrying.
Finally it moved Eastwards and came crashing onto land with a thud. The group groaned and picked themselves up. They were in a small recess at the end of the canal. The land here was the size of a regular room. To the South was a locked door but there was another Eastern exit. |

The force of the wave carried the boat forward once more.

hm. a bit different from what i remembered
*scratches head*
we immediately moved east from 9238? that is very odd. i do not sEE how thats possible. i thought we went north for awhile and then went east.
then it mentions the dock. which is actuallY where we are right now. this old fishing dock.
after that we turned north a bit. met the monster. and then turned southwards under a bridge.
*traces finger along map*
and then east. to 7564.

The balcony overlooks 5230. I'm not seeing 3620, where is that one? But yes, it may be possible to see what creature is in the room if I scan it.

There is the bridge in 1218, but then if the canal moves that low into the map it doesn't make sense how the dry canal is seen in room 9036 in the future.

I have received the walkie talkie and checked it. |
