BTW my jetpack is not an item. So you can't kill me and steal it from me.

(Idk why but I lol'd at this.)

I doubt you need to worry about being killed for it, its not really an item worth killing for.

If it was an item that could be taken from Dennis, I would doubt that statement. It would be an extremely useful item. People would kill for it. They kill for much leaser things.

Well they may but it wouldn't be good gameplay at all. I was more referring to a rational (evil) player. Risk far out weights the gain.

Yeah, if they were in a group.

True but then I imagine they would just kill for killings sake, not for an "item". But all this is a hypothetical anyway.

They could do it for both, but yeah, this is just hypothetical thinking of what could happen if it was an object. I'm glad that it isn't something someone can steal.

What exactly is a scot?

Is it like sir scott?

Yeah I'm trying to figure out what scot is too. Like someone else my first thought was it was scout and Dennis.

The only thing is it seems too easy. What if it's a play on words or a twisted trap. Like the one person you would pick would be the one who is fine. Or if it said given pain or whatever what if they're given something that can deal pain instead. Just a thought.

Sophia said the voice told her that only one of the three might be injured, so I don't think it's a twisted trap. Seeing how Carl and Arimnestos aren't with us it might mean that Eleanor isn't with her group either. So it might be that one of them walked into a trap with no one to help them.

Katy @ 28/3/2013 13:26
I just don't know why we have to guess?

Dennis @ 28/3/2013 14:54

Just so I have this right (map stuff) I was looking at both Dern's and Dennis' maps and I just want to know a few things:

1. What is the room size of 9880? I thought it was 3x3.
2. What is this room size? Thought it was 1x3.

Thanks for the help!

This is an exciting time in Paridiso, everyone is joyful and happy, all the angels sing songs to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. How I would love to set foot upon the gates of Paridiso once again.

Dern @ 28/3/2013 17:12
Based on new info I missed here is the updated rice paper map.

Posted Image

It is kind of concerning a several rooms are right next to each other in a way I wouldn't expect.

Also that puts the room north of 9880 right next to the room north of this one. Which is surprising.

Dennis @ 28/3/2013 17:15
I don't think the room to the north is that big if this one is 1x3. The description for the north room was given based on the one for this one. I'll have to check when I get home

Dern @ 28/3/2013 17:16
So you mean it's like 1x2 instead?

I hope Artemis is kind to us this Easter.

Airlea you remind me of the depiction of Artemis.

The huntress, carrier of a bow and arrow.

May she aid us in our hunt.

Perhaps we can catch some animals to eat or to use as bait.

And obviously she is the goddess of virginity, childbirth and bloodshed.

Notably perfect for this egg based animal and fertility event.

May we pay homage to her that she does not strike us with the illness of maidens.

I almost wish...

even if it is a trick.

The voice alone would comfort me.

That was my biggest motivation to joining this group - the promise of adventure. Don't get me wrong - I want to save the world as much as the next guy, but initially I came for the adventure. I was just tired of being nobody in a world of nobodies, where everything and everyone just blended together into a big mush of nothingness.

Tyrese @ 29/3/2013 0:53
I must admit myself, the last ten years I've isolated myself, especially after the death of my beloved fiance, and even more so after I found hints that her death was partly because she was digging too deep into figuring out what this place and Willis are all about. I grew isolated, even ignoring my loved ones - something I regret tremendously and would lock myself in the gym.

You see, before everything went wrong, I was well on my way into the NBA. Then the accident happened... and along with losing my love, I lost my athletic ability and strength. The last 10 years I've been inside the gym recuperating more then anything, I got back to full strength, started playing basketball with former NBA players but every time I would play, I would look to see the spot where she would always sit... and she wasn't there.

It drove me crazy, and affected my play. Then I started having nightmares where I watched her die, over and over again, but they would always end with her soothing voice comforting me, which led me here ultimately through Gabriel. Being in here, with all you friendly folks makes me miss my family as well, especially my little sister Tyra. She's all I have left in this world now.

*takes out picture*

I even brought this picture to remind me what I have to look forward to once this thing is done.

I came here to help me move on from the loss of my love, and to ensure other people do not have to suffer. Things may not go back to the way they were for most of us, but we can play a part in helping the future, so they don't have to be subject to Willis' games.

I've spoken too much, but it felt nice to finally talk about it. I consider all of you good friends, and would love to hear your stories as well if you are comfortable sharing.

Taylor that story is touching and I appreciate you disclosing it to us all. I hope the best for you and I'm glad you have confided in us. You are by no means boring or ordinary. Tyrese, the same to you - that is so touching and I'm glad you consider us all friends. Your little sister Tyra is beautiful. I'm glad you care for her so much, I hope we are all able to return to our families we have left behind. You both have inspired me to tell my story as well.

I met Katherine, my one true love, in a morbid fight to the death. Even though I was a bit more wealthy than the majority of the people in my area, I was treated like all the rest and the king took me away and forced me (and Katherine) to fight other young people to the death. After much practice, we both overcame the odds (and the government) and won. From there, we led a rebellion to overthrow the king, which we succeeded in doing.

Katherine and I then voyaged the nation and that's when we heard of Minos. Despite believing him to be a cruel king (maybe not as cruel as my own), when he mentioned word of Willis, I felt unsettled. Katherine and I agreed I should at least investigate, and here I am. I never expected time travel, murderous dogs, or anything of the like... it's quite scary. I really hope to live through this, return to Katherine, and my people who I have freed of the governments tyranny. Bowl fully while I'm gone it doesn't sink back into the clutches of evil, but I'm confident Katherine is holding up well. I really hope...

On that note, I do hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend. :)

How come we can still post?

Peter Mallick @ 29/3/2013 6:19
I haven't seen Willis.

Hopefully it gives us a chance to speak to Luminious!

Maybe Willis left it open so we could keep sharing. Or he just forgot.

I'm glad I could read these.

It only increases my drive to win.

And I hope it strengthens our bond.

For sure it makes me feel better about my weaknesses.

The past and things I cannot change have been clouding my already clouded mind throughout this labyrinth.

The northeast room is only 1 width but "twice as long as the room you just left", so the one before this one.

The north room is the same width as the one we're in but "twice the length of a room in this place". Not sure if it means twice the length of this room or just 2x2?

When it talks about "the room you just left" do you think it was referring to the one before this phase? or the one you had just flown out of, as in this one? I totally overthink these, but would really love to have an idea of what this map is to look like before we move very far.
