Your mind's eye goes to another place in this time. There's a long room, twice the width of a normal room with two exits facing South. One exit is on the Eastern side, the other on the Western side. The edge of the room has been carved out into a stone walkway that patrols the walls in a circuit, but the middle of the room dips down into the ground below. As your eyes descend through this hole, you notice there is more to be seen beneath the surface. Around the hole is a stone barrier, designed for viewing. There are rocky seats gathered around it.

At the very base is a long, drawn out area covered in sand and grit. In the very middle of it is a tall, wide stone spire which extends far up past the seated viewing area above. A circuit has been drawn out in the grit and sand, using rocks to mark the path. This area and the circuit are quite large, with rocky overhangs above that look menacing to anybody attempting to walk along it.

Set into the walls are some iron gates that are holding what look to be a number of chariots in place. More lines in the sand are drawn at the edge of these gates, leading out onto the circuit. Satisfied with the view of the floor below, your eyes trace up the spire and go back into the room on top. It's then that you notice the stone canal. It's set into the Northern side of the room and it extends out from the Western wall moving East. There are iron grates built into either side of the canal where it meets the walls, presumably to allow the passage of water. The canal is damp but it's still dried out.

Your mind travels to a distant time.

You can make out the same room in the future, although it is now three times the width of a normal room, extending a room's width further to the East. At the far Eastern side is a door. On the southern side there's an exit to the far West. The stone circuit is still visible but the flooring is now metal. In the middle of it all where there used to be the dip into the lower level is a pool of putrid yellowing water.

The stone spire in the middle stands as a large islet out of the water, now a lot darker and fouler looking. A metal bridge extends from the side onto it. Near where this bridge meets the walkway around the edge, there are patches of dried blood.

At the far North of the room, the stone canal is still visible, moving in exactly the same way. It is extended to allow for the fact the room is extended, but otherwise it looks exactly the same.

If you could let me know if this is ok to post please: (I just don't *get* this room mentally at all, I can't picture what it's to look like so it's hard to try to reword it. I'm mostly lost on the first paragraph.)

9036 - Past

Twice a standard room in width and has 2 southern exits. There is a carved out walkway around the walls, but the center of the room goes below into the ground. Around the hole is a stone wall, and there are rock seats around it. At the base is an area covered in sand. The middle has a tall wide spire that goes past the seating area. A line and path of rocks is set in the sand at the base, in a large area. There are rocks overhanging this area that look dangerous. Iron gates hold something that looks like chariots in place. There are more lines in the sand from the gates that lead out into the path. The canal is on the north side and extends out from the west wall to the east. There are iron gates apparently to allow water to flow, but the canal is only damp and mostly dried out.

Should there be an exit west from 9036 in the future?

In this time, your mind's eye moves to a different location. It sees a standard sized room with only one exit to the South. The stony walls of this room ascend high above the ground which was itself a stone platform. An iron fence stood on the Northern side of the platform. In front of it were two winches with heavy iron chains wrapped around them. The chains extended beyond the iron fence.

Beyond the fence, the chains moved downwards to the sides of a heavy metal gate. The gate was firmly embedded in a wide stone canal. On the Eastern side, the canal was dried out though still damp. The dry stone canal extended to the Eastern wall where it passed through beneath an iron gate. On the Western side, the green water flowed thick and fast until it hit the gate. It came in through a tiny opening on the Western wall, too small for anybody to travel through but large enough to allow the passage of water freely.

Your mind travels to a distant time.

The same room was visible, albeit there were exits to the East and the West instead. A shuttle was visible on the Southern side of the room, leading into an open metal gate with a red ring painted around it. The canal was still visible on the Northern side of the room. It was in the same place, as was the gate. The chains were visible but the mechanism was not. The water was also different, now a putrid yellow colour instead.

The floor in the middle of the room had a white line painted across it. On either side of the line was a towering pole with a large black box attached. The floor in between them had some splatters of dried blood. Your vision snaps back to the group.

I'm going to double-check, but I have a feeling I got my East and West mixed up on that boat trip description you posted. If so you can correct me and mention that I made an error.

Yeah I did. The boat moved North under the bridge and then moved out West again. Not East.
