What counts as duress?

Like being forced to say something?

I'm just curious because a lot of my reveals mention that they are ok to scan and I don't know if that negates them due to me... pre-forcing myself in some sort of anticipation to being forced?

Basically, you can't force anyone into being scanned. So like saying "post your win condition or we'll lynch you!" would be duress. Or really, any kind of explicit/implicit threat that if the person doesn't post something to scan something will happen to them.

Alright my statements should be fine then.

Kristoff only pointed suspicion at me with Green and Turquoise.

But he didn't really follow it up probably because I never got any items secretly... or never had a chance to like in the silence game or the opening of the chests.

I was the third or so to speak and I didn't open any of the boxes haha.

Yeah.... Everything i have from you might not work.

Duress counts as either being forced to say something or setting up a condition in which others would be forced to say something similar to clear themselves, and if they don't say it, they get lynched.

Ill still try if nothing organic cones up in the next two phases. (already used my scan this phase on andrael claiming to not have anything to do with the missing bag, not expecting an allegiance claim this phase.) So next phase im scanning andrael's win condition.

It might still work because the generals quote did an he pretty much was like "please scan this post." Buy that was before the words lie detector were being thrown around.

Pretty much to maximize my role's effectiveness, you all have to treat it like its not there at all. Pretty much if it comes up organically in conversation, its fair game to me.

Biggest reason i want to stay with brie is that aqua (save for two people) doesnt know her ability. If i die she could be a fresh lie detector.

I can do it on anyone at any given time. If any one of us are to be lynched I can stop it and they are free from lynch for that day. The other gruop is not aware of my power, only my angelic status.

I talked to willis and pollux following my initial roleclaim to make sure there is no witch hunt. Anything in response to being forced to say something or anything that sets grounds for others to be required to repeat the same words will come back inconclusive.

Obviously as he's allegorically jesus, patron saint of white people, he is suspicious of any person (or angel) of color.

Pretty much just put it out of your mind and hope it comes up organically.

Yeah it's always been a problem.

He just wants to think your self-serving role must be dodgy.

It doesn't help that we back each other up a lot, which made Hobert suspicious of me even to this day.

I suppose we can't all cheat to win (:

I wonder what made him accuse me of such things. I do not expect you all to believe me to be good due to my angelic status but I do hope I can be of value even if my role is limited to protection of sorts. I was careful to say this in front of Tyrese and other possible scum.

I think it was just a combination of him not knowing your role yet.

And the fact that you were silent til the end of the silent room... and I think you opened a box too.

It was just a hunch really nothing coming from you overtly.
