As the floor released and the clunking drained out the world went dark. And much much hotter. There were a series of chutes it seemed...as everybody slid down them at break-neck speed. The actual fall was hard to recall but it was pretty painful when contact was finally made with the ground.
Picking themselves up carefully they scouted the room to see if everybody had made it down. There were 19 bodies in all. That was refreshing at least. Everybody was here. Not a bad start really.
Various group members rushed over to help the fallen and assisted them in standing up. This room was very different to the last it seemed. For starters it had a faint yellow haze. The lighting made it that way. It was quieter but hotter. The steam and the embers of lava were thankfully nowhere to be seen and the annoying clunking had thankfully subsided.
ublazrob stood staring at a distant wall calmly. This was going to be quite a challenge. The group slumped to the floor miserably as they rested from their ordeal. The heat was so unbearable though...
The roof of this room was much lower but still high up. there were no signs of the chutes they'd dropped in from. The floor contained a dimly lit yellow screen that highlighted the room in the same shade. A sort of pale and somehow vomit enducing tone that was unpleasant to the eye. At the end of the screen was a single arrow pointing. Underneath that arrow was the letter "N". North? At least it was a start...
A rumbling noise started building and the room shook. Everybody steadied themselves against a wall nervously in anticipation of what might come. It seemed to be from...above...this time.
As the room shook and the rumbling got louder they all looked up expectantly. In the gloom above now that their eyes had grown accustomed it seemed the walls came up to meet some kind of large, darkened tunnel. It was semi-transparent but difficult to see into. The rumbling got louder and louder.
Then a blast of air rushed in followed by a couple of jets of much cooler steam-like substance. It was actually somewhat refreshing in this hell-hole. As they looked on towards the tunnel some kind of metallic shuttle blasted across at an extremely high speed.
If the letter N was to indicate North, the mysterious tunnel came from the East and continued onwards beyond this very room to the West. The shuttle was quite lengthy and bounded across noisily until it had all but passed through. It gradually became fainter and the shaking stopped. The heat returned, quite miserably as the cold "steam" settled and the shuttle vanished from view completely.
Silence fell. There were occasional far away noises that sounded eerily similar to that of a faraway cat in the night or something a little more terrifying in places. It punctuated the air and made the atmosphere very uncomfortable.

Ignore this user The floor changed in tone to a piercing red that caused everybody to fall back again. The red settled and the eye of Willis appeared on-screen.
"My apologies for the rather...rough landing. It's not that dignified but at least it brought you all together down here. That's the most important thing of all. There is great safety in numbers."
"I think we got off on the wrong foot yesterday with that whole unfortunate killing business so I'll try to be a little friendlier and more helpful today. Sometimes my temper gets the better of me and I was shocked to see you doing so well...being so...organised. It's of course paramount that you do this...the expedition is fundamentally important."
"That pendulum up above controls these doors as I mentioned. It also controls a rather carefully designed press system that will descend from the roof if you decide you don't want to go on. I can't say I blame you but I can't have you taking up permanent residence down here. I'd much sooner you were just taken care of lest you slow down the others. And that would be most terrible assuredly."
"This happens if you stay still for more than 48 hours. For whatever reason, whether you are dazed or confused it will generally come crashing down unless I say otherwise. It's not pleasant and will be very fatal. Rather an unfitting end since you've been working so well up until this point. I advise you to follow some kind of leader blindly if you are too traumatised to think for yourselves. Choose carefully though. Even choose your glorious so called leader over there."
ublazrob kept his calm and continued to stare into nothing, closing his eyes patiently.
"To move on you must activate one of the panels by the doors you see around the room."
The group surveyed these exits. Thick metallic, impossible to budge sheets. There were three of them. One East, one North and one South.
"You should know how to do this by now. Key in the following: ##Exit: Direction and replace with the direction of your choice. If you didn't know this by now, I pray for your sorry mis-guided soul. If you want to just follow somebody else through, this is fine too."
"Think carefully. This is all the help I will give to you at this point. The rest is down to you all. You have each been given a backpack but due to the trauma probably won't open them immediately. But when you do I assure you they are roomy enough to contain anything you might find along the way. Be patient and don't rush. There will be 24 hours until those doors open even after you press to release."
"Best of luck and keep on your guards. This is the most dangerous place on Earth. And you have to put your trust in one another to the extreme. I advise you above all not to."
With that the eyeball disappeared. The group went over to a pile of backpacks on the floor and took them. They had the name of the prisoner written on them in same form as on their backs. Not everybody rushed to open theirs. There didn't seem much point.
Eduardo silently chewed his gums and nodded.
"Y así comienza." He said quietly.
You each have 24 hours to move through an available exit.

Hell. (Labyrinth)
Cerberus. (Pack of Wolfs)
The River Styx. (Shuttle)
Satan. (Minotaur)
Cocytus.
The judges: Minos, Rhadamanthus, and Aeacus. (Three Voices)
Throwing out the knowledge I know that just clicked with me.
Cerberus guards the River Styx. Cocytus is a frozen lake/river. The judges are almost certainly the three sounds we heard. And Cerberus would be the pack of wolfs. Our Minotaur this time around is most certainly "Satan."
