I prefer whatever takes us through Charon's Room fastest. We need to see what's laying around in there. I posted this in the last phase but I don't know how many people read it:
|
Also here's another Patterson lie I just realized - he said he can only possess each body once and has never possessed Wikey. This is flat out impossible. When I scoped and saw Patterson as Bagshot and Wikey to our East I cried trap! Went to shoot Bagshot and he was no longer available. But Wikey still was.
I assumed Wikey had killed Bagshot, and this is what Patterson says happened. But I think he had used up all of his Bagshot shell and let it drop. In anticipation of them killing one or more of us so that Patterson could get a new shell. I'm assuming when I went to pull the trigger only Wikey and Patterson in spirit form were to the East. I pull the trigger on Wikey and kill him.
He would have HAD to possess Wikey in order to hop back in the shuttle and be back to our North the very next round and be talking to Alex on the walkie talkie.
We need to see what is laying around in the Charon room. We're being played. |
Even if Wikey truly did double (triple?) cross him, me putting a bullet in Wikey's head facilitated his journey quite nicely.
I have a feeling when we get there there's not going to be this big pinata of items Patterson claims. Or at the very least the Cape is going to be gone. I'm eager to be proven wrong and have that stuff back on our side. And to be away from...that thing that is approaching. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

I guess I wouldn't mind going east if we swing to the GRAY shuttle (3 north, 1 west of COS). Problem is, like the green shuttle I have no idea if it'd actually be docked
as much as I am curious about Charon, I think it'd just be a waste to go there before getting the sword... I estimate if we take the long way and swing by Charon BEFORE exploring the south it'd take us TWENTY PHASES before we even start to look for the sword... which is insane |
I know we got an answer from the Guardians, but other than that we're going on this spirit's word that the Sword of Peleus exists. I just want to see the state the room is in to see if it holds up, plus the possibility of the Cape being there still. And Klaus wants to revive Walter.
...
But I just remembered something none of us bothered pointing out to Klaus. Walter White can hold but cannot use any items. So the Cape/Walter smash-dashing trap scenario won't work. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

Helios has/is reading - we don't need the inner-workings of the system we just need to know if the Green shuttle will be there. Can you say definitely if it will be available? | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

even if the particular sword doesn't exist we have undeniable proof that there is SOMETHING down south that can defeat Charon
I know it isn't a race or anything but I really don't want to wait until phase 70 to even start looking for the sword... not to mention the time it'd take to find it and trek back to Charon. It'd probably be nearly phase 100 by that point. Not to mention the fact that someone could get to the weapon before us in the meantime which wouldn't be good |
Did you scribe the question in your journal? I don't think I did, so I didn't remember how definite the Guardian answer was. Was it possible that someone that has the item was just in the specified area at the time?
I think we've already lost everyone that would drop out due to backtracking, but after hearing you say this I'm like to rescind my desire to see Charon's room again. Especially because of the Walter thing I wasn't exactly on point with telling Klaus about.

Though some of us will definitely be dying to traps along the way to the New World, I think that's more appealing than being a snack for the Cerberus. Is there any precedent for wha he does when he comes upon a group? Would he kill everyone in the room in a blood frenzy? | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

really Helios left without saying anything? :/ |
Apparently. I'll give him that he didn't see my question but he had to have seen yours. He guards that knowledge tighter than a nun guards 'er cunt.
And I know how you feel about the Throwing Knife. How it feels to have little things be nagging and niggling at you.

This is the Cape info - upon reading it, I'm not so sure Walt couldn't use it. He CAN hold items, and the Cape just has to be in your inventory. We handed him chalk early on to see if he could hold items, and he could.

Pegasus Cape: A mythical cape of legend said to have been made by the gods of Mount Olympus themselves. On wearing the cape, you will gain a rush of speed. This allows you to exit multiple rooms in a phase.
With the cape in your inventory, if you wish you can submit two exit commands instead of one. The second exit must be in the format ##Exit2: Direction. The following phase, you will not only enter a room through your first chosen exit, you will then exit through your second selected exit in that room, essentially allowing you to skip past that room entirely.
This will fail if a trap, device or entity in the first entered room would otherwise harm you on entry. In which case you will take the effects of that trap, device or entity. If the first entered room does not have an accessible exit in the "Exit2" direction you chose, you will automatically move through the next available clockwise exit that isn't the one you came through. If the door you came through is the only available exit in the first room, you will remain in that room. |
