Iron Face pressed the Southern release, taking a moment to glance back at the two corpses. He'd seen them far too often. He stared at the lifeless forms and looked down at his own shaking hands. Shutting his eyes, he stepped forwards.

Beads of sweat poured off his forehead as he trod carefully along the floor. Overhead that glass cylinder loomed threateningly. He closed his eyes. Not today...not again.

At the North of the room there was a shuttle platform with a docked shuttle. This platform had an orange ring around it. Iron Face glared up at it in thoughtful silence before stumbling a little and falling backwards. Ninefingers caught him with a smile. Iron Face gave a weary smile back.

"You'll be okay soon, old friend." Said Ninefingers encouragingly. Iron Face nodded firmly.

Alex, G, Walter and Donovan milled in behind and stood around in the room. There were so few of them now. Places like this made them uncomfortable. Still...nothing seemed to be happening and the trap hadn't re-armed. All good news for today.

Iron Face placed the empty vial on the floor and looked up pleadingly. As he did he held his chest and coughed. He lurched forwards and backwards a little unsteadily as Ninefingers rushed over to help stabilise him. He fell to the ground, grasping his head.

Trying to scream out to the heavens he rolled his head around in his hands. Ninefingers took a step backwards. This looked unpleasant. Then Iron Face looked up. His eyes were red and watery. His lip quivered.

The room began to distort. The light bent around Iron Face's position. Everybody glanced at one another awkwardly as the distortion focused in. And there was a bright flash.

When the flash subsided, Iron Face was gone completely.

Donovan stood at the back of the room with his arms folded. They were in a predicament. Things were not going well and they'd just lost a ton of useful items, as well as a keymaster. At this point in time it was hard to see what could go worse.

As he looked on, there was a clicking noise from up above. He glared around at the other group members in puzzlement who all shook their heads. He then looked up.

As he did the lines on the floor sparked into life, dancing patterns around him. Donovan glared and gritted his teeth. A siren started wailing out from above. He looked up nervously once more as the glass cylinder descended and surrounded his entire body.

Donovan let out an immense sigh as the circuits lit up the tube in a flurry of electric activity. He glared out in agony as the electrocution went full force into his head.

Finally the sparking stopped and the cylinder rose with a click. Donovan stumbled forwards, arms outstretched and slumped onto the ground. He breathed out heavily as he stood upright. He looked around at the other group members through blurred vision and went to speak. But he stopped immediately afterwards.

His mouth closed and it stayed shut completely as he rolled his eyes and shook his head miserably.

The doors open after much delay. Time to move on.
