G groaned as he finally came around. He looked up from where he lay behind the stairs in the room. The horrible red light was almost blinding him. He rubbed his head. It was covered in dry blood. He'd bled out a bit onto the floor right beneath himself.

G hissed and looked in his pack to check something. He nodded and then stood upright rather sluggishly. Somebody had chalked on the wall the letter "E" very largely.
