"Through me you go to the grief wracked city; Through me you go to everlasting pain; Through me you go a pass among lost souls. Wikey stared at the group as they vanished from the room and the doors sealed shut. Staring over at the figure of Roth crumpled in the corner he lay down in his cage and attempted to mime the motion.

Roth groaned and Wikey quickly jumped up to attention. He began making the shape of an invisible cage but quickly realised this was pointless. Slumping down again he heard a click. He screamed silently as the latches on his cage flew open.

The chain that was holding the cage down rose and the cage was whisked off the ground. Wikey did a little jig before turning to the figure of Roth. Roth rubbed his head and mumbled something silent before looking up at the mime with his head resting on his hand.

Wikey rushed over and helped him up and the two of them stood looking at the exits. They were on their own now. Nobody else came through either of the doors. What to do?

You each have 24 hours to move through an available exit.

All of a sudden the air in the room crackled. Wikey and Roth looked upwards to see what was happening. A dark cloud had descended upon everything. A whirlwind of energy flickered and flitted about. This sensation ground against everybody's nerves.

There was a crackle as a bolt of the energy flickered and hit Wikey squarely on the head. He recoiled and with a groan, fell to the ground breathing out heavily.

Roth scuttled over and propped up the fallen mime. He was knocked out cold but alive.

Roth attempted to move Wikey on his own but the man was far too heavy and putting up too much resistance. He frowned and shook his head miserably. He got out the good book and said a prayer for Wikey's safe venture and then turned back to the business at hand.
