I remember you saying Subway last round. My sleep-deprived brain just read Shuttle tracks.
There be a fucking subway? |
lol yes, that's where the stairs that me and twinsie descended led to and where the tentacle monster resides. It takes you from the north side to the south side of COS

(Accessible ones, I mean. I know one was referenced in early Cerberus flavor.) | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

Where does this shuttle go? Because if we can't solve this that's our only option. I don't think that giant ornate, non mechanical door is going to be just opening for us while the guard dog strains at his chain. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

I scoped West assuming I wouldn't be able to see through to the East since I can't see through locked doors. I picked up no targets. This means G took off to the North, too. It's like all of the corpses are assembling somewhere. Or at least stumbling around the same few rooms. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

Room 1274, assuming no number changes. Three rooms north of the NE corner of the Chamber.

I'm looking at Alex's map that he was making and that would be the Cerberus Tracking Room. Do you know if this is truth or is Alex's map incorrect? I looked back in my journal but I did not record the room number for the phase we were in the Tracking Room. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

Faux Klaus didnt insult me though, he said I was smart :D
Leos and I connect through the bonds of BROTHERHOOD so I guess that could make sense.
Regarding the gun game Kiwi / james "had" to do because of the red room. They didnt need to do it. Its a game of trust. You only shoot the other person if you dont trust them. Robert and Roth where made to play the same game but Roth convinced Robert not to shoot and they both lived, until Robert walked into yet another trap and died for the last time. Kiwi was just paranoid of James it seems, he didnt NEED to kill him to survive just trust him.
Robert is the only zombie we have met that is "good" or at least didnt want to kill us. Maybe not all zombies are bad?

I am technically a zombie. I was killed by Frosti wielding the machete and resurrected by a Lazarus Charm a few rounds later. You have my word that I not be out to harm anyone here. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

I was really suspicious of the Mime myself so I guess I can't say that I blame Kiwi much. If James was evil he probably would have killed Kiwi. And then died by lynching because he couldn't convey what happened. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

*Ninefingers interlaced his fingers, minus the missing digit, and watched Korrulk with amusement. Though Ninefingers felt he would not like him when he was angry* | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

(Warning - I'm bored and the following contains nothing of importance.)
*Ninefingers ambled over to the Western wall and slumped down upon his ass on the floor. He idly took the compass from his pack and began to fiddle with it. It no longer seemed important to the group so he wasn't going to bother with getting a reading this round. He just liked to see it from time to time, a token he has carried for the majority of the game. While looking at the simple compass memories of fallen friends meeting such grisly ends in this hellish maze flooded to the man's mind. Roy blowing his own brains out during Russian Roulette, G being burnt to a crisp by lasers. MLWW mauled into lasagna by Eduardo/Wendigo. Leos riddled with bullet holes from the random turret. The Mime being popped in the head by Kiwi's golden gun. Donovan most recently plunging into the fires. The kid was always questionable and he resigned himself to death long ago for lack of caring.
He wasn't sure which was the worst of the lot - the nanobots picking Kiwi's skeleton clean of any scrap of flesh or the way Natalie had been bent and broken, nearly in two. Then the tentacle monster invaded his mind as it would a Japanese school girl. He hadn't even been there to see it and the thought of a writhing tentacle monster living in a Subway chilled him to the bone. Maybe there were worse things than Mimes and Centaurs after all. There had been so much death - and now to the North it seemed that enemies Ninefingers at least doesn't yet understand are growing in number. Even if Team U didn't entirely trust him, it felt good to be among bolstered numbers again. It felt so hopeless when it was but Alex, Walter, and himself left. They weren't going to be able to weather many more traps before Group F was extinct. Other than Jeffrey. The Taxi missile was the best thing that ever happened to him. Ninefingers chuckled to himself thinking about the confusion that flooded the Missile Launch room once Jeffrey disappeared and all they could hear was his voice saying "oh men oh men" over the mechanical hum of the launcher's motor.
The old, tired treasure hunter stared straight across the room at the chained up but constantly bothered and frequently hissing Charon. To what end did this former Ferryman gorge himself on souls? What makes this Dante character, the new Ferryman, think he and his humanity will fare any better? Ninefingers shook his head as the thing caught him staring at it and turned its attention to him. Ninefingers was quick to look away, day dreaming of things the group could use to saw the crazed Charon's head off with if Bryce's coin fails. Ninefingers never quite got used to the nature of knowledge in the labyrinth - ten million questions and crumbs for answers. Every other room and corner turned birthed a crazy conspiracy that twenty phases later turns out to be true. He lifted his maimed hand and used the index finger to trace the wound on his chest through the fabric of his tattered shirt. A present by which to remember "dear leader" Frosti. It was kind of the bastard king to be so noble as to stab his subjects in the front and not the back, at least. He had to stop thinking of the Red Ogre. He was dead. Right? Maybe he would get a chance yet to kill the bastard again with his own hands. Natalie's broken body flashed in his eyes. Horrible. It was burned into his mind.
No matter what was to come, or how Ninefingers met his eventual end, he was sure of one thing - he would be making sure the group found its way to the Gates to fetch the Key and get out of this goddamned place with Wikey, Cerberus, and the Muffin Man nipping at their heels. Or go back to the mud trying. Lost in thought, the former soldier turned treasure hunter let his eyelids slide shut and a smile crept across his lips. Thinking about the first time he heard about Team U calling themselves the Meek Ham Parabola. Ninefingers had laughed long and hard. He had scrambled to make their own anagram'd team name but he no longer remembered it. Being in the mud made some memories blurry. It seemed a quiet enough hour to catch a nap. So after putting his Compass away, he did. He shot a prayer to the seven to protect them through the night*
(I put a follow on someone in case my shitty sleeping schedule causes me to miss the end of a phase. Should be around for a few more hours, but I'll probably be asleep by the time all the normal productive members of society are waking up.) | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |
