I think it's clear what's going on

He needed to kill Jeff as Raking in order to cross Jeff off of his list and also get into the room with our group. Since then, he's been trying to kill me. Not only that, but he's been spending quite a bit of time down here trying to turn people against me, which is all coming together now that we're at the COS, where he intended you guys to throw me in

I think I'm one of his permanent shells. I think now that Jeff is dead, his list could be finished and now he wants me dead so he can take over my body, escape the maze, and make all of us lose.

There's absolutely no way this guys win condition doesn't conflict with ours. No way at all. Once he goes through everyone on his list, he has to possess one of his shells and get out of here before the rest of us do

I really think we need to get rid of this guy in the COS before he finishes his list and wins before us

I was brought here by Willis about a month before the rest of you. There were actually a few of us. I was invited personally. Tricked into thinking all of my years of research had finally paid off. But... while the things that I studied were true, and Willis did make good on his promise to "start an expedition to the Hellsgate," His intentions were not scientific progress. We were drugged and brought here. It... didn't end well....

I was the last one to die. And because of my "fighting spirit," Willis gave me this "wonderful opportunity." To live again. To leave.

And then I "woke up" months later in the Anteroom. You couldn't see me or hear me, but I was able to observe you all there. And it was miserable... watching it all start again....

Obviously my purpose here is to make your work harder, thus the complexity of my task... but all that I want... is to escape. I want to go home.

I want to be human again. Happy again. I ... I wasn't happy before, but... Well... it was better than this. I hate every second I have to be in this place or do what I've been "asked" to do. And it's driving me insane.

I've already said that it conflicts, Alex. The only very narrow set of circumstances I could see resulting in all of us winning is if I were to finish my list and leave at the same time you arrive at the exit with the key.

And no, they came up with the plan to toss you in all by themselves. I just told them about you not mentioning the medkit. ...and also I'm really not a big fan. Waiting 13 hours for a response to a simple question as I see you viewing the walkie thread multiple times in between, before returning with an "LOL! Sorry been out all day haha" was a little annoying. I spent so long alone... and that was what I got.

I'm a little bitter, admittedly!

But either way, when you all waited up for Malarkey two days ago and he returned, he was separated from your group. What information did you receive on him? Or is your role active and you have to ask?

What is it you did here in the maze? Same thing as us? Kill people...have to escape? Were there spirits in here before you?

Can you at least tell us your name or what you did while in the maze last time?

No we were hoping to get more useful people. You hadn't been around. You weren't the only one planning to go in.

You, Merc, Randolph...we needed to bring back people and see what happened to them. We hoped that whoever would die we would resurrect to see where they would end up, either in the room they died in or in this one where we sacrifice....but I'm not sure if it's possible to revive once they've been entered by this spirit.

I think the only one he couldn't dwell in was DR...her role claimed to be the Messiah if I remember correctly so this would all make sense...hence this guy or thing is evil.

Well...obviously we both have a common goal...we want to escape.

If there is a possible way for us to both escape like you said...if we got the key and then got to the exit when you were exiting...how is it we can't help each other instead of you just killing us off one by one?

I mean, I don't know about everyone else's roles so I can't say for them...but I'd sure not like to die haha

Sadly, Latin makes it rather difficult to express things in the future tense and sometimes translates poorly.

You could have given them to someone else...someone not active. Why pass them to me? And why give me both things? Why give me, ME of anyone else these things. Until now we have not interacted so I'm confused on that.

I would assume the key is beyond Charon. I only know the locations of bodies, so my map is rather disjointed. The computer room has helped a bit, but I think had Willis been able to kill me a second time, he would have after I entered every number from 0000 to 9999...

And I have tried my best to give you all valid information. Unfortunately I can't stop taking names off of my list, but I don't see us as enemies. If I knew where the sword was, I would tell you, but at the moment, that feels a little out of my way. It could be, between finding it, killing charon, recovering the key, and reaching the exit, months at this pace... honestly... I'm not sure my sanity could take waiting... that long.

It's only barely... barely holding up as it is. Possessing the dead is very hard. And the more I have to do it the... the worse it gets. So I try... not to waste them.

(In character, my character spent his entire life studying mythology and the supernatural. It makes sense for him to speak latin. I personally know very little. But I like to keep in character. And Dr. Patterson likes Latin. And Aramaic but there aren't translators for that.)
