I thought I posted this but it's not showing up on my end:
I take it there's another body in the room with you, giving you the two day thing? Who is the other body? |
No, it's rather complicated, actually... the time I have in each corpse seems to be predetermined. It's... very much a pain in the ass, to be honest. Generally I have a limit of a phase, which doesnt allow me much leeway, but on occasion I come across a shell that affords me a much longer time. Bagshot I had 5 days in... 5 days which were cut short by a crazed alcoholic mime who likes to ruin whatever he has going for him.
I... I'm still a little upset about that. And a hatchet to the neck always hurts. No permanent damage, of course. but it was a very irritating inconvenience.
I don't feel like delving into the mechanics... what matters is I'll be Paco for 2 phases. Not the most exciting prospect, to be quite honest. |

I just asked who the first body he possessed was.
I honestly really don't know what to be asking him. Was hoping Alex would have replied with an answer to my question to him by now. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

TBH I don't think this person is Wikey. Just doesn't talk like him. He could be disguising himself ofc but wikey usually isn't very good at that and has lots of tipoffs such as saying "been" instead of "being" :P

I'm also very curious. You say you are Dr. Patterson not an actual player - who was the very first body that you possessed? |
I am a player. I have a role, a win condition, even a fairly fleshed out little backstory... And like the rest of you, I... I am stuck here in this maze until the game's duration has finished. I'm just as much a prisoner as you and your friends. I just wasn't on the player roster and was already here when you all arrived in the Anteroom. I even got to watch the proceedings there, bodiless but present.
I also began like the rest of you... with nothing. No special instructions, no useful information... but I was a scientist in life, and I made the best of it by dedicating much of my time to researching this facility and the inhabitants within it. I like to think I have a decent grasp of who is who and what is what. There are still mysteries I have yet to unlock though.
The first body I took was Brock. Very dull, rather pointless. But that's my I chose him. I figured he would not be of any use later. |

Sounds like he can only inhabit a body once? | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

I'd at least ask how he moved 4 rooms in 2 phases if he can only carry one item as he claims and also why he said he was going WEST but went southeast
and maybe ask him if he knows anything about CHARON. Doubt it but its worth a shot

I move from body to body by selecting the name of a corpse. The distance doesn't matter, but it does take some time to make the switch. I try to keep them close together though. I am attempting to make a map, but it is rather difficult because besides your north eastern corner, the corpses are spread out.
That corner is a little different. There's basically a body in every room! |

did you ask him what his objective is yet? This role honestly doesn't make much sense to me

(missed these)

Alex has since claimed Mentalist. When he meets a straggler he gets a brief insight into their recent journey. He hasn't specified yet HOW short his insight is though.
Is there anyone else you would trust to talk to? In the event they want me to pass the talkie? |
I am fine with speaking to some people (with a few exceptions), as long as our conversation is finished or as long as they are willing to hand the walkie back to you when their questions are over. I'd rather not speak to Alex, Malarkey, Mercator or Randolph... all for varying reasons.
Any of the others who are interested, I wouldn't be opposed to speaking with.
|
Also his power can't work on us now because there's "too many voices."
I think he is biding his time, but I think I be getting him in a checkmate scenario with the Eduardo situation. |
This role claim doesnt make much sense to me. How would the mechanics of that even be governed? What if you were to encounter a pair of stragglers? Or two entered from different rooms at the same time? Why does a group cause "the voices" to become overpowering?
I... I will... will admit.... voices... they... they can be very overpowering... but... I don't see where it makes sense in Alex's case. MLWW heard voices and was able to turn them out... I don't understand why a supposed mentalist would not have learned the value of a tin-foil hat.
I... I wish I had a tin foil hat.... |

This is what he says. The way he words things to avoid lumping himself in with us makes me think he is bad, but his information might not be. Let me see what he says to the movement question.

Well "this is what he says" doesn't go for the kill us all question, he hasn't said that yet. But I'm going to ask him anyway. Since he owned up to scheming with Wikey to attack Alex and I, he might agree to it, too. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

Do you know ANYTHING about Charon.
We met him, but he was crazed. A shell of his former self. He killed one of us trying to pass. Was guarding an ornate black door. Same room Wikey was killed in by the turret you spoke of.
How do we get by him? It mentions cutting his head off. Would you think there's a specific weapon for this, or just the machete? |
There's a sword that you need, I believe. It's called the Sword of Peleus. I'm afraid I don't know exactly where it is. Wikey had some knowledge of it from before we met up, but I didnt see it on him when I took the walkie off of his corpse. |

Also according to our map you said you were going West, but you actually went South East. |
Is it South east? I thought it might be south... but... I assumed it was west based on death order. I don't have a map of that area, but I know which group was through this area and I receive a list of the deaths in the order they occurr. Since they came from the west, I assumed this was west. My apologies! I'll try to fit that into my map.
Did Jeff say the distance and number of rooms between Hupu and Paco? That would be rather helpful. |
I gave him the number of rooms, but no specific directions. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |
