As the group sat around the strange missile device uncertainly, their eyes were drawn to a monitor at the side of the room. It was glowing red. They gathered around to see what was up. A series of letters were appearing on the screen one after the other.
They paused to read the entire message as it appeared. Once it was there, it lingered for a while before the screen blacked out entirely.
The message read:
Meagain.Stillalive.Haventhadmuchtoreport.Beenquiteboring.
FoundRoyJamesRobertdead.Currentlyin9827.Cerbwasclose.
Gonenow.Willsendmessagein3phases.Willtrytobemorehelpfulinfuture. |
James?
Mimey...... are you alive???? Helllllooooo????? |

Couldn't this be Bryce or Hupu? Maybe they followed our path partway, and then returned back to that room.

I've thought about this many times. I mean, the other group was calling people by different names, were they not? Didn't they call Bagshot somethign else?

Let's not rule out that Jeff gave them information about us......... perhaps he lied.
Or perhaps they slipped on information. Or are simply lying to us. Or choosing the Mime in the hopes we kill him since he can't really defend himself too well.
