Aye. It didn't feel very good. It would be terrible to experience that over and over again. Though, I guess it's par for course around these parts. Suffering. Death. Treachery. Monsters. No centaurs at least.

Do you know if that Wendigo was a one time thing? Or be it an evil that will keep looking for corpses to reanimate? Would the Wendigo entering a body cause you to be unable to enter that same body later on?

I feel like there's something to that. Maybe he's just an Electrician. A Hell Electrician.

I know you won't want to name names, but can you tell me how many scum bodies you've possessed since the beginning of the game?

Let me think... Umm... They... they were all recent too. I should remember. Including the twins who aren't nearly as bad... 4. And two very, very, very unpleasant "sane" players. Sane isn't a good word for them. They had the standard win condition. They weren't sane. Sane people... they don't... I wouldn't consider myself sane but even I know they weren't fucking sane. They were actually more traumatizing than the-butcher-who-does-nothing and the psychopath-who-walks-in-circles.

People with that much blood on their hands... those kinds of thoughts... they shouldn't be called sane.

When you possessed MLWW, did his voices get stuck in your head?

I bet in your mortal life you at one time placed a bet on something. Looking around this room, if you were to put money on how many of these silent followers are evil, how many would you bet on?

I think the Wendigo was a single time event. I had possessed Eduardo just a few phases before... I want to say phase 12. He was no where near where the Wendigo was found. And not long after the wendigo had died, I went on a terrible little adventure as Aspen, who died in the same room as Eduardo. The body was exactly where I left it, untouched.

I don't think it took their bodies at all, only their forms. Grabbed onto whatever bits of soul or humanity they found and copied it.

I'd assume if it was a recurring event there wouldnt have been so much flavor to you all killing it, and it would probably not still be there.

I only saw MLWW's death flavor, so I don't have full details on how you managed to encounter this thing... though I've heard myself compared to it a few times which has become something of a... great annoyance.

How did you manage to find this thing, exactly? And where?

When the labyrinth shifted we were all knocked out. We exited East hesitantly and immediately ran into Eduardo who was laying there at the base of two trees.

Yes. They were... sort of there... sort of not.... it's very hard to explain. I'd start rolling a die to make decisions for me because of Eduardo's stupid gambling habit...I actually still do this from time to time... but I didn't... hear them until I decided to see what his story was.

And I have been stuck with them since. Only he had a tinfoil hat. He used to use it to tune them out. I don't have one. I don't know how that could even work....

It's miserable. And some of them are unbearable.

And they won't... ever... stop.

He then lead us on a journey that found us in that weird...alien pod room. The things reacted to him. Glowing. Helped him transform to the Wendigo.

We've only experience with two external things that reanimate - you and the Wendigo. I'm sorry if the comparison was drawn in the past.

[color]Do you have flavor from this? I could understand how he would be just laying around... I ditched his corpse myself because I rolled a 1 and got knocked out, but he never left the list of the dead. There was never a soul in that corpse when you met him.

Kiwi glanced over at Frosti and Alex angrily. Something was fishy since everything jumped about and he was having none of it. MLWW shrugged.

"I think you need to all calm down." He said but whatever. He opened the release to the next room. The group wandered in casually to what was a very dark and unpleasant place. It was downright creepy. It was dark, damp and unpleasant. Ninefingers tenderly sniffed the air and wished he hadn't.

"Fungus." He confirmed. "My sinuses be screwed up for a while."

The room was full of plant life all round. It was green but not in a pleasant way. In a dark, dead, wintery sort of way. There were two large dead trees looming over everything. Kiwi looked upwards at the two UV lights that were creating this artificial monstrosity and frowned.

In between the two was a shaded glass tunnel. It moved from the West right through to the East. Frosti sat down on his pack rubbing his eyes and squinting. He massaged his temples momentarily and shook his head.

At the back of the room there were a series of very large cobwebs that glistened in the dim gloom. A variety of mushrooms and fungi sprouted up beneath on the dank mossy floor.

"Oh men not the spider :( " Jeff said shaking. He backed away nervously and tripped over something laying on the floor with a scream. Ninefingers rushed over to help him upright. He seemed to be okay.

Then Alex crouched down to look at the bundle laying on the floor. It was a person....another...prisoner...

Everybody stared on in the gloom to try and make out the face of the recumbent person. Alex leant forward and tenderly felt the pulse.

"He's aliv-" He started as the figure's eyes shot open.

Scrabbling backwards against the surface of a dead tree the figure glared at the group in shock and awe.

"El demonio!" The figure screamed making the shape of the cross with it's fingers. It squinted up at the surrounding group. And then it smiled. "El grupo!" It shouted with a laugh.

"Finalmente!" It cheered. He smiled.

"Eduardo!" He said proffering a hand towards the others. Ninefingers took it nervously and shook. He remembered the gent from their time in the ante-room now he'd spoken and their eyes were adjusting to the gloom. Eduardo grinned.

"Tell me! Sus aventuras! What has happened on your viaje?"

This is how the pods were reacting

"The pods on the walls began to glow strangely in shades of yellow and blue. They throbbed as they let out unsettling hues. The throbbing came alongside an awful squelching noise. As the pods glowed, so did Eduardo."

Do you think there's anything to some of the colors of rooms down here? Some be red, some green. One brown and even a purple I believe.

I understand the comparison... it's just... quite frustrating. I spent my entire life researching the paranormal. A lot of that knowledge seems to have been inaccurate at parts and other things, admittedly I studied for years and have yet forgotten, but even if I don't know what you could call me, I know I'm no damned Wendigo.

They eat people, you know.

And not even the sickest minds of this maze that I've been forced to reside in have been canibals. The very thought is... no. just no. Or I'll be remembering that... rir7r7xoryiiykitu NO. STOP.

Okay. I'm fine.

Fine.

Can't remember my entire fucking life but I can remember that fucker's entire collection of horrific slaughters. "Reformed," my ass...

What was I talking about?

Right. Wendigo.

Oh, are Donovan and Leos on your list? Or are they likely coming after us like you? And if someone you need dead is resurrected, do you have to kill them all over again?

...I can't even wrap my head around my own mind. (Or how to properly close my color tags...) I'm not even going to try to figure out if colors matter.

Did anything else come up after it was killed? Flavor-wise?

I want to ask who or what was supposedly "reformed," but I'm sure I won't be getting an answer. Was it the subject of the Inferno Monitor?
