Ok we almost killed him like the phase before you came but we let him live because he is our slave now. I would guess only you (debatable) are trusted less than him.

Kain and Abel or whatever.

Kain kills Abel, so clearly Kain would KNOW that he must kill Abel to win.
Abel does not kill Kain, he merely dies..... so perhaps Jeff only wins if Abel is killed. Flavor is often hidden from a person's role (a la paranoid/schitzo/etc.)

I agree there that whole thing is so suspicious but its just so crazy it might be true. If its not we won't give him any means to carry out his goal (if it is not the same).
