The group shuddered as the howling grew louder. Pressing the Northern release they moved back into unpleasant territory with the two rotten corpses and the two silent guardians. The figures stood there, forever observing. What a pity they couldn't part with their deadly axes. It would make all of this wandering less painful.
Klaus glanced at the figures clutching them a little further and then sighed. Best they just keep moving.

Now is the time to choose. North or east. Either way will take the same amount of time to get out of harms way.... and I'm prefering the eastern route, for the whole reviving dead players and making it to the charon room with minimal deaths.

I prefer whatever takes us through Charon's Room fastest. We need to see what's laying around in there. I posted this in the last phase but I don't know how many people read it:
|
Also here's another Patterson lie I just realized - he said he can only possess each body once and has never possessed Wikey. This is flat out impossible. When I scoped and saw Patterson as Bagshot and Wikey to our East I cried trap! Went to shoot Bagshot and he was no longer available. But Wikey still was.
I assumed Wikey had killed Bagshot, and this is what Patterson says happened. But I think he had used up all of his Bagshot shell and let it drop. In anticipation of them killing one or more of us so that Patterson could get a new shell. I'm assuming when I went to pull the trigger only Wikey and Patterson in spirit form were to the East. I pull the trigger on Wikey and kill him.
He would have HAD to possess Wikey in order to hop back in the shuttle and be back to our North the very next round and be talking to Alex on the walkie talkie.
We need to see what is laying around in the Charon room. We're being played. |
Even if Wikey truly did double (triple?) cross him, me putting a bullet in Wikey's head facilitated his journey quite nicely.
I have a feeling when we get there there's not going to be this big pinata of items Patterson claims. Or at the very least the Cape is going to be gone. I'm eager to be proven wrong and have that stuff back on our side. And to be away from...that thing that is approaching. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

well the thing about Jeff's way, it'll lead us there faster but we will have to cross the bridge... which either won't be there, or will claim another one of us when we try to cross it.

uh why do we need to go to the Charon room at all? I guess there could be some good items but I think the sword is of the utmost importance right now... so I think what we need to be figuring out is what will get us to the SOUTH the fastest, not the Charon room...

I guess I wouldn't mind going east if we swing to the GRAY shuttle (3 north, 1 west of COS). Problem is, like the green shuttle I have no idea if it'd actually be docked
as much as I am curious about Charon, I think it'd just be a waste to go there before getting the sword... I estimate if we take the long way and swing by Charon BEFORE exploring the south it'd take us TWENTY PHASES before we even start to look for the sword... which is insane

stupid dawg. If it wasn't for him we'd be there in 2 phases :/
if HELIOS knows a way to ensure the green shuttle will be there in the room to the north, I say we definiately should go that way. But I dunno how the shuttle activation all works so...

I know we got an answer from the Guardians, but other than that we're going on this spirit's word that the Sword of Peleus exists. I just want to see the state the room is in to see if it holds up, plus the possibility of the Cape being there still. And Klaus wants to revive Walter.
...
But I just remembered something none of us bothered pointing out to Klaus. Walter White can hold but cannot use any items. So the Cape/Walter smash-dashing trap scenario won't work. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

even if the particular sword doesn't exist we have undeniable proof that there is SOMETHING down south that can defeat Charon
I know it isn't a race or anything but I really don't want to wait until phase 70 to even start looking for the sword... not to mention the time it'd take to find it and trek back to Charon. It'd probably be nearly phase 100 by that point. Not to mention the fact that someone could get to the weapon before us in the meantime which wouldn't be good

Helios has/is reading - we don't need the inner-workings of the system we just need to know if the Green shuttle will be there. Can you say definitely if it will be available? | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

Did you scribe the question in your journal? I don't think I did, so I didn't remember how definite the Guardian answer was. Was it possible that someone that has the item was just in the specified area at the time?
I think we've already lost everyone that would drop out due to backtracking, but after hearing you say this I'm like to rescind my desire to see Charon's room again. Especially because of the Walter thing I wasn't exactly on point with telling Klaus about.

Though some of us will definitely be dying to traps along the way to the New World, I think that's more appealing than being a snack for the Cerberus. Is there any precedent for wha he does when he comes upon a group? Would he kill everyone in the room in a blood frenzy? | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |
