Klaus marched through the Southern exit with a slight limp. His marching was improving though. He shot an awkward look at Alex as he walked through the Southern door. The group followed closely behind.
The room beyond was full of bones and maggots writhing in the soil. It was unpleasant. One of the more disgusting rooms they'd encountered. It was familiar to some already. Klaus walked over to the wall where somebody had chalked a message.
"TRAP WEST! Z"
There was no Western exit here anymore. And the Z. That always made Klaus shudder. His once sacred code was now in tatters.
You each have about 22 hours to move through an available exit.

(The 20,000 character limit is making sharing either of these rough. I'm trying to post the Walkie conversation between Alex and Bagshot now. Notice that the log only starts after a Walkie interruption. If I was really talking to the original Bagshot in Hupu, I'd think he would have the logs from before that, too.) | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

There is a slight disturbance but the walkie once again buzzes into life. |
Hey! What happened to the thread? |
I think a third party might have found a walkie! |
Alex, I was teleported to 6720. I found myself face to face with Wikey. Thankfully the spear came in handy. He's dead.
What's going on with you? |
I think a third party might have found a walkie! |
Well, that's awkward. Hello? |
Alex, I was teleported to 6720. I found myself face to face with Wikey. Thankfully the spear came in handy. He's dead.
What's going on with you? |
Oh fuck. I saw the teleport messages but nothing about Mikey. Thank god you had that spear
We revived Niney and we're catching him up. Iron drank the blue potion hoping to get his voice back, but now he's sick and he's gonna die in three phases |
How exactly does the timing on the poison work? According to my map, we could meet up in about that long. I have a medkit |
Lemme try to find out from Iron |
If you guys head North, then West and West again, and I head South South and East, we'd meet at the middle. That's 3 phases. I asked Willis just now. Medkit cures poison and muteness both if someone had both.
Maybe we can make this work? |
Yup sorry, I'm here. Iron is trying the third potion hoping that it will heal him now, I'll let you know the results
I told them about meeting you but they seem to want to go South. I'm trying to see where their heads are at. I'll get back to you asap |
Alright, do what you think is best... though I seriously doubt Willis would put a poison and a cure in the same room right next to each other. |
Couple of questions they want me to ask you
When you were teleported into your current room, was Wikey in there right away? Or did he enter afterwards?
How did Bryce get the scroll/coin?
Oh and you're in the computer room! That's how we transported Raking to us earlier. That means Wikey must have used it on you to transport you there? |
Wikey was there already, waiting. I got his hatchet off of him... the way the flavor reads, we were within a few seconds of each other to put in our actions.
From what I understand, Bryce got the coin from Robert after he died and they'd found the coin when they were together. I really don't know how he won it. That group was apparently together for some time. Robert had died only a phase or 2 before we found their group. |
I wonder why this subforum cleared...
It should only clear when someone new enters or if the walkie changes hands. No sign of a third person though.. |
Maybe someone picked up a 3rd walkie but decided to just listen in... It's a little unsettling. |
Alex, i'm heading South this round. If you go south, according to the shuttle map those two rooms are connected. You were in that room before, weren't you?
Is it activated? |
Yup, South from us is the shuttle room. Orange shuttle, and yeah it's activated |
Iron's drinking the potion right at the start of the next phase |
Well I'll be taking the shuttlle next phase then. There is really nothing up here to do. I have to admit this is incredibly boring...
Do you guys have more questions? Seems I've got more than enough time on my hands to answer... |
Holy shit... I entered 2399. Didnt realize it was going to be quite so gory... MLWW, Leos, and some thing all dead. I assume it hasnt changed from when you all left it but its definitely a change from regulation walls for me.
How are things on your end? |
Yeah that room was fucked up haha. That 'something' is your old pal Eduardo. Carnage in that room.
We ended up going South. If you continue south you'll run into us. Nothing happened since we've been here before. Iron just tried the third potion, no word yet on what happens |
Damn... hearing about and actually seeing are two very different things.
Let me know what happens with Iron when its updated. Its either worry about your end or stare at what's left of Leos all day... |
What was your group like? Something to talk about to pass the time haha
Was there anyone shady on your end? We've had some...trust problems |
What was your group like? Something to talk about to pass the time haha

Ha. Yeah it sounds like it.
Well, initially I promised mygroup I would be a little short on details with you, but I'm on the exact opposite end of the map from them now, so I don't see any harm in being a little more free with info.
Obviously, Wikey was scum.
Baby Pete was a lie detector, and while he was active he cleared Paco, Klaus, Korr, Malarkey, Randolph and Helios. He hasnt been on in ages but we've kept him around because obviously if he ever returns, he's quite valuable.
Paco and Randolph are vanilla, and during phase 15, Randolph had our bible and wasn't knocked out.
But even though they were confirmed at the time, we did have a confirmed role change after the phase 15 event. Raking was annoying and a complete idiot, but the good part of that was that he immediately told us the deal with he and Jeff.
He posted his changed role. Their win conditions changed to require the death of the other, on top on the town win condition. So no, I seriously doubt Jeffrey and Raking met up and Raking just happened to get eaten by a monster. But Raking is really not a great loss.
I do trust that Jeff is fine now though now that his partner is dead. I doubt their win conditions would change entirely.
Bryce has been very whiny about exiting first, but he did roleclaim upon being asked.
No idea on hupu.
I really don't have any reasons to have distrusted the others. Klaus and Malarkey have always put themselves out there. Mercator has been a little slow with updating us on the very serious dawg issue. Helios... he's probably fine.
Rayne was fishy when we left him... or her. Whatever they are. Rayne, Happy and Roth were left behind to do their own thing. Happy... is happy. Not very active, hard to read, always with a :)
Roth seemed pretty legitimate. His claim was a little odd and he's survived more shit than anyone has all game by the sounds of it, but I feel like he's probably town. Especially since Robert had so many good things to say. |
Oh and Ublaz is probably scum. He stormed in the opposite direction during the Cerberus thing. Apparently he thought we were all too dumb to keep up with. |
Yah I figured they would want you to keep some stuff from us lol. We felt that way during Jeff/Raking's time as twins. We thought you guys were keeping stuff so we started to do the same
I trust what you've told me though and I've been straightforward with you. Communication and the truth is the best way to help each other out here |
And yeah, I had a strong feeling that Jeff had something to do with Raking's death. We didn't quite trust Jeff when he left us. Him claiming Cain as well after Raking dead was really fishy, and him hiding his role change from us was also odd |
The bible supposedly protects the soul of the person using it. We found it at the Sanctuary and gave it to Randolph because he was doing a Born Again thing after Helios brought him back from the dead. I don't really know if it has a use beyond keeping him up during that. |
Any news on Ironface? Like I said, I seriously doubt it's any kind of cure, so I've been trying to speculate on what it would do. I'm coming up a little short on ideas. |
Really? That's odd. It's been like an hour since the phase started. I wonder what the hold up is. |
Besides that situation, how is your group doing? |
Another note...
Supposedly at the truth guards most of my old group was confirmed, but we only questioned on clusters of people who had not been cleared by Baby Pete, and because he vanished before Phase 15, I don't entirely trust all of those claims to remain as they were. When we met the 3rd group, they told us they'd experienced the knockout on phase 15 too. I highly doubt a Labyrinth-wide event left only two with changed roles.
And obviously, people could have lied about their answers. Malarkey is convinced that whoever asked the truth confirmation from your group is scum, but I think its feasible that the truth guard changed after Phase 15. He's very fond of that theory though, and won't shut up about it. |
Christ. Iron drank the potion and was teleported. We don't know where he is, but he claimed all the items when Niney and Natalie died, and now he's gone with them. What a pain |
Well... fuck. I figured it wasnt going to be a cure. I wish I'd been able to meet up and use the medkit... it would have prevented this. |
Gotta ask... what was the reasoning for using the potion at the start of this round? I really don't get it. And how did your group react when you told them I had a medkit? |
Gotta ask... what was the reasoning for using the potion at the start of this round? I really don't get it. And how did your group react when you told them I had a medkit? |
My group has actually always theorized that you were the doctor of the other group. Not sure why it originated
We decided to wait til this phase began because Iron was exiting first and we weren't sure if the room would silence him again or not. That would've been awful if we brought his voice back last phase only for him to be silenced yet again |
"A presence gathered above them. A strange glow coming from their bodies. It dispersed into the "sky." Everyone felt better once it had gone. They not be feeling as good as they did at the moment since the first time they heard Cerberus. It put them in much better spirits."
Ninefingers wants to know about that. For some reason its been on his mind. I took it just as Cerberus losing your groups scent wayyy back when. Did anything like this ever happen again?

What I mean is why would you use the potion now when you could have waited until the end of this phase all the same, in case of any negative effects? Why take the risk of an unlabeled potion when I could have brought a cure in time?
I was never talking about using a doctor ability. I have our medkit.
Since I do trust you, I will confirm that your suspicions were right. I don't think I did a great job of hiding that fact...

When I picked up the spear a few rounds back, this happened:
Bagshot walked over to the statue and pulled on the spear. The jaws were holding it pretty tightly. He pulled some more and it still didn't budge. Sighing, he pulled with all his might, bracing his feet against the base of the statue. The spear flew out, sending him teetering backwards.
The jaw of the statue snapped shut and the eyes glowed red. There was a mechanical howl as the floor shook. Bagshot gripped tightly onto the spear and slid it into his pack. The room glowed with a blue light. He glanced from side to side nervously as a blue mist entered in from the air. Bracing himself as the mist slammed into him, he stumbled a little.
His entire body glowed blue for a few seconds before it finally subsided. Then there was a very distant howl. Bagshot looked down at his body and back across at the statue. Whatever just happened, he didn't like it. |
Iron was pretty pissed that he was A: mute and useless and B: dying. He made a rash, desperate decision and figured the third one would be health, and now his choice is fucking us over since we lost all our shit |
What all did you lose?
And I understand making rash decisions... clearly, that got him into this mess. But my point is I have a host confirmed cure for both of his problems and could have gotten it to him in time to save him and cure his muteness. I just don't understand waiting then making that decision when there were other options.
What did he say when you relayed my offer? |
He waited for the phase change, I mean. Why not wait an extra day instead of losing it all? And why not take precautions and pass off items before ingesting questionable liquids? |
The entire situation just sounds kind of retarded, no offense. I understand I'd have to be there to appreciate it. |
Can I see what they had to say about all this? About the medkit offer? |
I just reread some of this. I don't want to sound like I'm accusing you, Alex. I trust you. I'm just genuinely baffled by the whole thing and have nothing else to worry about.
I'm very curious what Iron's logic was though. |

Yup I'm here. I don't blame you for thinking the plan was retarded or for sounding like you think it's fishy or anything, I'd feel the same way
Basically...they don't exactly trust you. I told them earlier that we could take the orange shuttle and then travel down to the Charon room, and then I told them that you wanted to meet up with us, and they didn't exactly like it
Few reasons why:
They're really paranoid that you could somehow be Wikey and that Wikey killed you and took you over or something. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense at all. You're also in the room with the Wendigo (Eduardo) and that thing took over both Eduardo and probably MLWW, so it's got them paranoid
And then the whole thing with Leos from earlier, when you guys asked us if we could send only Leos to you. Then Leos ended up dying from a remote controlled turret manned by someone else in the maze. They thought you guys had something to do with it and that you wanted to lead him into a trap or something
Right now, they're thinking that maybe you guys wanna use us as Cerberus bait since Cerberus is tracking you. They think you want us to head that way so badly so that Cerberus locks onto us instead. They also know about the C4 that your group had and they're paranoid that it could be a trap
Obviously I'm telling you all of this because I'm the only one of us who can get any sort of read on you and I feel like I can trust you based on our conversations. They're paranoid as shit though. We've lost a lot of people and been betrayed a bunch of times, so they're weary about absolutely everything now
But once I realized the orange shuttle moves within a phase of you guys, I wasn't even asking for you to turn around. Just wait a phase for me to get there and deliver the medkit. I mean if you didn't trust me we could have worked out a better system. There are a lot of options here.
You could have moved on and let Iron Face alone wait behind a phase. I deliver the medkit, then pass the walkie and Ironface confirms.
I can accept suspicion. I certainly wouldn't be going to see some random person without being ready for anything. But there were options beyond hastily downing an unknown elixir while packed with a full inventory.
Hasn't it been 2 phases since that event occurred? Why not take the precaution of passing off items at least?
I mean, I really don't want to offend you, but it sounds like for the most part the reason you guys have had such shitty luck is because you don't think things through. At least that's the impression I'm getting.
I actually don't remember us talking about sending Leos over. I personally wanted him far away from us. We did find out who killed him. The 3rd group found the computers and got readouts of information on rooms and a list of living players within those rooms. The idea I guess was to enter a room number. They entered everything from 0000 to 9999.
Apparently Robert and Rayne both typed in Leos's name at the same time to test it. Robert got the action in first, but they both tried to test it on him.
The computer then went offline for 72 hours. So the 3rd group made the decision to stay at the computer and guard it from being used by anyone else. We found the 4 of them in there, sans Robert who had died. They hadn't entered any names since they found out what it did.
Roth, Rayne and Happy are still protecting the room. Robert died of a trap 2 phases away and Bryce joined us, mainly because Hupu is inactive and following him, and we wanted someone to throw in the chamber of souls should the need ever arise.
I will be boarding the shuttle this round, but if you all don't trust me I won't ask you to stop and wait for me. I can head off in another direction with my shoe if there's a fork. |
I would like to read some of what they have to say though. I am more than willing to answer any questions and talk to them. We could relay a conversation though you even.
I really don't have anything else to do. Being alone sucks. |
I did actually say tooons of times that Iron should divvy up the items, but the conversation always changed
A big part of the reason why we're having shitty luck lately is because of trust issues/awful communication. It was me, Iron who was mute, G who has a speaking disability, Walter who can only say three words at a time, and Donovan who only speaks at night when he gets off work. You can imagine my frustration |
I can imagine! Surely its better with Niney back though? |
Hmm, maybe the best option is for me to start a dialogue, since your team are communicably challenged?
Tell them I said hello? |
Maybe quote that and send it to them?
Maybe take out the part about them being communicably challenged. |
And quote back their responses? |
Sorry, wasn't around last night. Just did it now! |
Donovan's been muted. The trap sprung again and now he can't speak |
Woah what? That's bizarre... we've only ever had one trap reset itself, the teleporter. I thought Iron Face walked in first? |
He did! We have no idea why it happened. Donovan was behind Iron so maybe it went to him since Iron left? We have no clue |
That's so weird... hopefully it won't go off again when I take the shuttle in. If the line goes quiet but stays open, I guess you'll know. |
Hello, Bagshot. Kind of a weird request.
(Sorry I went to sleep after posting the latin thing. You can quote everything, including this.)
Why do I get the feeling you didn't leave out the part about them being communicably challenged...
What latin thing? |
Ninefingers, what Latin thing did you post? |
haha I did leave it out. When we walked back to revive Ninefingers, there was latin written on the wall with our chalk, which has run out now. The latin was three different words for 'speak'
Hello Walter!
That chalk thing is odd. Sounds like someone was just trying to waste it. |
Just wondering, do you think it would be possible for you to pass the walkie to Ninefingers next phase? Just for a little bit. |
(UGH I can't figure out why the spoiler tag won't work on this. Apologies in advance. Breaking it in half seemed to shatter some of the tags.)

I lol'd at Bagshot not believing that the monster killed him even though I saved the flavor and he saw KORR get killed by the same monster in the same subway. Why would he think I'd lie about that anyway? Kinda baffles me! I admitted to them right away that we were pitted against each other

This is why I wanted to draw attention to the fact that the log picks up seemingly midway. Alex and Bag had been talking before that, but this is all he had saved. Since he saved this log, I doubt he would not save the one before it. It could be someone using vague things they know about you to seem legit, knowing we weren't with you all that could point out such inconsistencies. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

cuz Im pretty sure there's NO WAY the spear could kill Wikey if Bagshot got teleported there. The spear is thrown through exits into the next room, don't think it can be thrown at someone in the same room
