Donovan walked through the Western exit, shaking his head silently. He didn't want to do this anymore. He was cranky as hell. Still he opted to do it so he walked into unknown territory. The others followed closely behind.
The room beyond was dark and basked in an eerie red light. The red light seemed to emanate from the lake of fire that was stretching deep below everybody's feet. Ninefingers walked past the silent Donovan and glanced at the terrain. The ground was covered in dark black rocks. In the middle of it all there was a series of gratings that bobbed up and down unpredictably.
Ninefingers mused staring at the leaping gratings. It seemed that a jet of fire occasionally licked their undersides and caused them to fly upwards a small amount. Alex joined him as he stared. There seemed to be no point to it but the grates were not fixed down very well.
Glancing upwards he could see that a shuttle tunnel came in from the West and arced towards the South. G lurked in the shadows watching silently. Walter looked around in confusion. There weren't many of them around these days.
As they looked on at the bobbing grates, a voice boomed out from near a monitor on the wall. The eye appeared on a red screen.
"Fascinating isn't it. The lake is unstable here and occasionally it will jet up a stream of fire. Those grates were placed at the points the jets occur. However just once, the flames will rise beneath every grate and send them hurtling up into the air. They continue until they smash into the ceiling."
"It was only fitting that I made proper use of the fire jets in here. How about a little game? You are small on numbers but I have a useful item to give away. The objective is rather simple; all interested parties stand on the grate. At least two must participate."
"You wait for the fires to blast up and send the grates hurtling. Once the grates rise, you must jump away before the grates smack into the ceiling. The very last person to jump, will unfortunately not make it. They will be crushed. The penultimate jumper, however, will win the prize."
"Relatively simple and a lot of fun. I'll leave it up to you all to decide if you should take the leap or not. After all, you are dwindling greatly."
The voice vanished. The group continued to look on at the bubbling grates.
You can opt in to play rising fire. At least two people must opt in before the game will start. Vote to opt in using ##Play: RF.
You each have about 19 hours to move through an available exit.

Of course my nose would sniff out another item attached to a game that asks for death in return for an item. It could be a mighty shiny thing that we be winning but... I can't say I'm eager to play. G? Walter? Alex? Donovan?
So hot in here. Update from Bagshot would be good. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

A good item would be really nice after Iron vanishing...but I'd rather not risk it personally

I can't even say I'm clear on what the challenge be. Basically two of us would play, and one would be more or less agreeing to die, right? As long as one person jumps off first they would be the victor. He be saying it's a nice prize, but he had much higher praise for the description of our Pegasus Cape.
I personally will not be a participate of this game. I feel I don't fully grasp the rules and would go back to the flaming mud already.
I don't blame the rest of you if you feel the same way. No one no how hard it be to pass up a mystery item as me. My nose be twitching the whole time we in this damned room. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

Niney, Bagshot wants to talk to you. I think he just wants to talk to different people every so often? Maybe he doesn't trust me and wants to confirm part of my story or something like that

Pass me the Talkie then I guess? I've no qualms with talking to him. I might feel the same was as him in his position. Then I can be giving it to G since he's the only other person he could talk to. He should be one room to our East now, correct? | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

##Follow AlexORG
(If you are going to pass me the Walkie after this post, make sure to tell Bagshot I might not be around to talk to him until in the morning. Getting kind of tired.)
*Ninefingers wiped at the sweat at his brow. This room was too much. He stared at the compass while waiting for it to stop spinning, closing his eyes and listening to the booming jets of molten fire. There was no comfortable spot, so he perched where he could* | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

Have we ever found Chamber D? From the lab notes? Looking at my lists on people I know more or less nothing about Korru, Aspen, Roth, Happy, Paco, and Rayne on their team. Have any of these died since Leos did? Since we wouldn't know about it? I know Rayne/John would be more rhetorical since they are split from the group at this point.

Do you think there could be four Chambers? A, B, C, D? We've found the Chamber of Souls, the Chamber of Silence (both described as cavernous chambers.) | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

Uh..the line just went dead. Bagshot is in the room behind us. The last thing he said was that it was nice talking to me if he was silenced. I guess that's what happened since we saw it happen again to Donovan....strange
