Klaus pressed the Eastern door release nervously. This was a known trap. He knew it was a trap. But into the heart of darkness he went. They had healing right...? They had healing. It would be fine, yeah. Plus a shoe. They were stacked. Nothing could possibly go wrong. Good.
He walked slowly through the door into a warm room. They were all warm though so that said nothing did it? Still, the warmth would explain all the sand. The room was practically a desert. Sand lined the floor in rough dunes everywhere. It was pretty undisturbed so it seemed like new territory. It was a horrible red colour though. More like Martian terrain than anything he'd seen on Earth.
So it'd cave in or something would it? That seemed the obvious trap. He looked over at the shoe. It was still...in one piece. It had bounced harmlessly. Not a pressure trap then. The other sort of trap was a...what was that again?
He looked up at the ceiling where the shuttle tunnel came in from the West and curved around to the North. Then he looked at the little white box on the roof as beads of sweat poured down his head. It began displaying a message in red.
"Moisture detected."
Right right, the other sort of traps were moisture...oh sh-
He let out a scream as the sand beneath his feet began shifting. The noise seemed to draw the attention of something horrible. A gigantic reptillian eyeball opened up in the middle of the sand pile.
He continued to scream as he fell to the ground and the sand spiralled into a horrible vortex. In the centre of the room the sand shifted some more as a gigantic worm popped its head out of the ground. It had ferocious snapping jaws and horrible orange glaring eyes. It roared up at the sky, menacingly.
The door opened amidst the chorus of Klaus screams and Malarkey hobbled in. Thinking fast, he held out his cane which Klaus lunged for but the sand shifted faster, sending him hurtling towards the jaws of doom. There was a horrible snapping sound as it closed on his legs. The worm leapt out of the ground and dived beneath the surface with Klaus intact.
The room fell into silence as Bagshot and Randolph scoured the floor desparately. Korr scanned the room for all possible lifeforms he could terminate. Nothing was reading.
Finally there was a tremendous roar as the eye appeared once more. This was followed by a choking noise. The body of Klaus arced through the air and landed onto the soft sand with a quiet thud. It was bloody, open and dripping all over the floor. Randolph reached down to his neck and checked for a pulse. He nodded.
"I have no idea how he's still alive but he is...barely."
Jeff and Bryce exchanged a worried glance as Hupu smiled at the back of the room.
"SUH BECAME WORM FOOD!" Hupu said with a nod.
Bryce shot him a look.
"Not appropriate Hupu." He said sternly.

so there's no east or south... interesting! That means that like the northeast corner there's a pretty big block of nothing unless there's a hidden room in the corner...

I have a crazy theory that the charon room is the first "hell room". From there you go east and then south and enter hell :P
So the rooms to the south-southeast and east could be hell for all we know, we just cant enter.

tbh I wouldn't be surprised if Charon takes you off the map... cuz the guards never told you that the key WAS in the southeast corner. For all you know they would of said no to that too

Considering Klaus seems to have lost his doctor life here its time for someone else to take lead. Volunteers?
Its pretty obvious that the people who have their doctor life left should take the risk so we can save the medkits / revives for later.

Well the room might be located there on the map, but not accessable by door

Who´s going to take lead? We kinda have to decide on this so we dont get stuck here. We need people who can get hit by traps to take those hits.
Jeff? Bryce? Merc? | |

Helios should wait as well I think. Considering he cant revive himself and if the doctor cant save someone.
