[23:29] UblazRob: Does the Rites of Passage
[23:29] UblazRob: Mean that it's a final three?
[23:30] UblazRob: Because that isn't clear
[23:30] UblazRob: And if it's a final two, I'm going to alter my strategy somewhat
[23:30] Andy Kimmel: I can't answer that, sorry.
From 9/30

Ublaz figured it out and asked. I gave a non-telling answer.

Please don't assume, guys. You could have used the key, but you threw it away and locked yourself out. If you had just used Becky's vote... all would be well.

Shane chose to self eliminate. We did not do that to him! I even gave him a chance to do the Tiebreaker, he chose not to!

Kim has the most experience with your FTCs, so she probably has the edge here. David is bummed and realize he should have voted Katie with Becky at Final 5, like me and you were saying awhile ago! Now he's forced to win this final challenge to have a chance at making the Finals! He could do it, I was impressed by his performance during the Triathlon.

Ik David realizes that now but in his defense he thought it was a F3. It's y'alls game so your call, but if anything I think information like that should be made clear as the homestretch approaches. I talked to Shane last night and asked if it was a F2/F3 before I had even looked here and he said he thought it looked like a F3 and he just wanted these 3 to be in it, but now that it's a F2 the dynamics have shifted and he feels bad bc he knows David is screwed. It's even worse for them since Katie probably would have lost the tie-breaker. Ultimately if the goal is to get to the end and you think you can do that in a F3 scenario, but then surprise F2 it changes everything. Nobody wants to be Cirie'd. Just my two cents but I know I wouldn't want to be thrown off like that with the RoP and everything. Of course given the number of Jury members I probably would have assumed a F2. I'm not sure why they didn't do that at the F5.

Yea most hosts dont make it clear whether it is or it isnt, it makes it exciting, and it certainly did in Micronesia.

But like Benry said, whether it was a F2 or a F3, they should have made a move with Becky at Final 5.

I find it hilarious that Shane's quit basically ruined any chances David had of winning, instead of doing the reverse.

Using Becky was the key here. They blew it and have nobody to blame but themselves. They also didn't pay close enough attention to little details... Kim sure did. Charlie and Dave did. There are probably even more.

Even if it had been a final 3, David wouldn't have won, given how the jury suddenly hates him for having a brainless vote slave like that. This will be quite an interesting ending, I am sure.

Yes, David was likely 3rd place in that F3. Oddly, the F2 actually BENEFITS David, he doesnt realize it. It gives him a chance to prove his worth by winning the FIC and guarantee himself a 2nd place finish, and a better chance at first by choosing a suitable contender to go with him.
