Challenge 17: Reaching the Stars
Come on in, guys! Welcome to your final four immunity challenge!
This is a not-so-simple test of endurance that will test your patience, your timing, your memory, and... well, your mettle.
Every hour, you will make
A NEW TOPIC - I said TOPIC, don't post everything in the same one or IT WON'T COUNT, you hear me? Label each new topic "Reaching the Stars - Hour X" with X denoting the number of the hour.
Each hour will get more and more difficult as it goes on until the last hour, in which you will be granted reprieve... if you make it that far.
First hour: Once every 5 minutes
Second hour: Once every 3 minutes
Third hour: At :x1, :x3, :x5, :x6, :x8, and :x9
Fourth hour: Once every 2 minutes
Fifth hour: At :x0, :x1, :x2, :x3, :x5, :x6, :x7, and :x9
Sixth hour: Once per minute
Seventh hour: Once at :x0, :x3, :x4, and :x7; twice at :x2, :x6, and :x9
Eighth hour: Twice every minute
Ninth hour: Twice at :x0, :x1, :x5, :x6, and :x8; thrice at :x2, :x3, :x7, and :x9
Tenth hour: Three times every minute
Eleventh hour: Four times per minute
Twelfth hour: Once per minute
When ":x3" means any minute ending in "3" for example.
So one chain would look like this:
Topic 1: 10:00, 10:05, 10:10, 10:15, 10:20, 10:25, 10:30, 10:35, 10:40, 10:45, 10:50, 10:55, 11:00
Topic 2: 11:00, 11:03, 11:06, 11:09, 11:12, 11:15, 11:18, 11:21, 11:24, 11:27, 11:30, 11:33, 11:36, 11:39, 11:42, 11:45, 11:48, 11:51, 11:54, 11:57, 12:00
Topic 3: 12:01, 12:03, 12:05, 12:06, 12:08, 12:09, 12:11, 12:13, 12:15, 12:16, 12:18, 12:19 (repeat two more times)
And so on and so forth. Please note that there may be SOME overlap - as long as your first post in a topic is one hour after your first post, you're good. You can wait until the next minute to start the next topic if you so desire. But if you wait longer than one minute between the end of one topic and the start of the next... you drop. Fair warning.
REMEMBER: MAKE A NEW TOPIC EVERY HOUR OR YOU WILL DROP AFTER THE FIRST HOUR! CAPICHE?
Of note: You only get ONE chance at this. No reprieves, no nothing. When you're done, you're done. This is the final four. Do you expect a challenge for sissies or a sadistic Amanda endurance?
And the stakes have NEVER been higher. Anyone whom completes the entire twelve hours will win immunity and be in the final three. If nobody reaches twelve hours, whomever lasted the longest will be the only winner. If all four reach 12 hours, nobody will be immune. If three reach twelve hours, someone will be eliminated.
You will have until 7 PM Wednesday to START this challenge, and it will end at 11 PM that evening. Please note: You MUST complete your Rites of Passage for us to count your submission! Ted will post those later tonight.
