Puzzle Mayhem

Come on in, guys! Rudy and Brendan were our first casualties.

Also, I am posting this a little early so you guys can strategize and think about sit outs.


Six different puzzles (well, one is a flash game) are presented below. Each puzzle must be completed by 1 member of the tribe.




There are Hidden Immunity Idol clues at stake in most of the challenges. Thought there was something around here? Well there is, and it makes you want to care even more about how you're doing in challenges. It's sort of a "Challenge MVP" twist on HIIs - do well in challenges, and you'll be rewarded.

The player who completes the hardest puzzle - that would be MINE (Amanda's) - on each tribe will win the first HII clue, whether they win immunity or not! That means one person on each of the four tribes will be getting a clue, unless someone decides to not do it at all. I don't get why they would.

There's also another twist here. There are THREE Hidden Immunity Idols, each with their own unique set of clues. Whoever gets the clue this round will get the first clue for ALL idols, as will anyone in the future who earns them. However, in future rounds, each person will choose which idol they wish to pursue each round, meaning they can get one clue for exclusively the idol of their choice. Someone may change their idol of choice from one round to the next, but they will only get the clues for the one they are pursuing.

Regardless if they get a clue or not, each person will be allowed one guess per idol per round.

You may switch around who does which puzzle, but in the end all 5 players must do 1 puzzle. The tribe with the highest overall time will go to Tribal Council, the other two will be safe.

Each puzzle will be scored from best to worst. Jigsaws based on time, the other three based on score (that includes the slider!):

First place - 8 points
Second place - 5 points
Third place - 3 points
Fourth place - 1 point


Once you have decided who is doing what puzzle, you may post your puzzles in a thread at your tribe camps. It is easier if you post in your tribe camps so they are all in the same place. If you decide later that a puzzle was too hard or easy for you and you would like to switch you may do that, it doesn't matter as long as each puzzle is done by a different tribe member.

Keep in mind: Only ONE person may do each puzzle. You have to decide mutually!

Qinoq and Aput each get to sit someone out - that can be whomever depending on the discussion, who gets to any puzzle first, etc. I would suggest making a thread in your tribe camps ASAP to discuss your plans for the challenge ;).



Your AIM or Gsurvivor login must be present in the screenshot to prove you actually did the puzzle. Example Screenshots from last season:

Either of these would be acceptable to show you did the puzzle. Example 2 shows the Gsurv2 log in and you can see "Ted Rogers" (keep in mind, NDIM's welcome is in the user bar at the bottom).


Challenge will be due at 8:00pm EST tomorrow. Like last round, TWO tribes will win immunity and the other two will go to Tribal Council and grind somebody.
