Challenge 15: Poker Face
This is a Gsurvivor classic, and my personal favorite challenge. This time, there is a new twist and it can be a little confusing, so read carefully :).
Here's how it works. In your confessionals you have each been given 5 cards. There are a total of 40 cards, the 2s, 3s and 4s have all been removed from the deck. There are 7 of you, and 5 cards each, totaling 35. The other 5 cards are below. These 5 cards are group cards, and anyone may pick them up and use them to improve their hand. The only rule is, if you pick up a card, you MUST replace it with one of your own cards. There must always be 5 cards in your hand, and 5 cards in the deck posted below.
Once every 30 minutes, you may swap one of your own cards for a Group card below.
When posting, please make sure you post which card you removed, and which card you had replaced it with ( as in, include the images, and update the new 5 group cards so it is clear to everyone)
Example:
*The starting cards are
for reference
----------------------------------------------
I would post
Ted exchanges his
with
So you must post which card you want to exchange and actually update the group cards to reflect your change, all in the same post.
You will then post YOUR new updated cards in your confessional to reflect the change ( not the group cards, the cards that you actually have). Please keep the post with your original 5 cards unmodified, and make a new post underneath with your revised cards after you made a trade here. If you don't make a new post in your confessional with your new cards, it won't count!
Now, to avoid the inevitable confusion that will from result several people exchanging their cards at the same time, before exchanging your cards you must post:
*Name* wishes to exchanges cards
This will determine the order players exchange their cards. For Example:
9:00- Amanda wishes to exchange cards
9:01- Ted wishes to exchange cards
9:01 Ghandia wishes to exchange cards
9:02 Brenda wishes to exchange cards
In this instance, Amanda will get first dibs on exchanging cards. You will have 5 MINUTES from the time you request to exchange cards to make your post( which is explained below). If you don't post within 5 minutes, your turn is forfeited and the next person may now exchange cards. In this case the last time Amanda can post is 9:04. by 9:05 her turn is forfeited.
Now Amanda exchanges her cards at 9:03, at this point I now have until 9:08 to post my exchange because I posted "Ted wishes to exchange cards" right after Amanda. I have 5 minutes to post after Amanda posted her cards. However, I was distracted watching black lesbian porn, and miss my turn, it turns 9:08 and I have not posted. Now Ghandia gets to go, and has 5 minutes, and then Brenda will go after. If I want to go, I need to repost "Ted wishes to exchange cards" and then I can go right after Brenda.
You may only post you want to exchange cards 30 minutes after the last time you POSTED an exchange. For example above, Amanda posted at 9:00 she wanted to exchange, and then she actually did the exchange at 9:03. She must wait until 9:33, 30 minutes from the actual exchange post, before she can post "Amanda wishes to exchange cards" again. Hopefully this is clear.
While you may be improving your own hand, you might also be putting down a card your opponent could use if he or she has a turn to take it before someone else. Will you hold onto your hand as is, or try to improve it risking your opponent possibly getting an even greater hand? Will you collude with a tribemate to quickly exchange cards to improve both your hands? There are many possibilities here! No one knows which 5 cards you are starting with ( but they will see one of your cards everytime you choose to exchange). You may tell others your cards if you want, that is up to you.
The player with the BEST 5 card hand at the 11:00 pm EST tomorrow night will win immunity and be safe at tribal council.
Do Not Begin until 9:00pm EST tonight! This is posted early cause I cant post it later and so you may look over the rules. You will have 26 hours to do this challenge.
These 5 cards below are your starting group cards. Good Luck!
