And I agree that if there are lovers, that one may be town and one may not be. I know Dadd said it when he first claimed, but I want him to tell us again that he knew from the start that his lover was the same alignment, just to be double sure.

Mixed lovers would be stupid. Their one advantage is that they know someone who is town from the start of the game. That's why the role is unlikely in a cult game.

I'm interested in a herm flip though because if he is scum I will feel better about Dadd. Right now Dadd is much more suspicious in my book though.

I've had a busy few days while you have apparently been stalking me. That little squirrel claiming lover serves to protect him from being lynched. To me it makes him a big target for scum at night since it could be a two for one kill. The fact he is still alive would be more telling had so many power roles not been outed early. If he survives another day or two I think we have our answer.

Highly unlikely. The purpose of the role is that if one dies, the other one dies as well. If one of them is mafia, the town lover would have no way of surviving. lol

If one lover is recruited, he has a different wincon than the other lover. The disadvantage of recruiting a town lover is that if the other lover is killed, the recruited lover dies as well. I don't see why lovers can't be in a game with cult either. I'm pretty sure I have seen both appear in games before, although it's rare. :P

And lovers has the same wincon as the rest of town.

To that point, I don't think Herm can be Cult unless he started out as Cult Follower. He was way too inactive during these first day phases. lol

I would lynch Herm over Dadd, though. :P

If one half is recruited, then there's no way for the town half to win is there? Either way such combi is stupid and you're all stupid for believing Dadd in the first place.
