A ban message greets the old man. The shock causes his heart to stop.

With his connections on both sides of the board, vlady is a useful asset to have in defending FE from Roos' evil crew. Each night, Vlady can choose to watch a player of his choice. If anyone visits that person during the night, Vlady will receive the name of every player that did.
It is possible that whoever killed Buffy last round was role blocked this round. Though I would think that the gf could just send another person out to kill.
I think this could also support the idea that it is a Serial Killer and not a Vigilante. If the mafia kill was blocked, and the other killer killed Vlady, surely the Vig wouldn't kill a more or less confirmed townie. But a serial killer would definitely want to kill a power town role. Especially with 4 mafia members already gone and 2-3 more likely.
