#1: Two nice songs, but Boy Like Me is more to my liking.
#2: I like instrumental songs, and Downtown is pretty good actually. That being said, Sunshine burns a hole through Macklemore's dollar bills.

#1. Boy Like Me by Barns Courtney -- weirdly, I think I like more recent versions of the Marvin Gaye song better than the original.
#2. Downtown by Macklemore -- Not a fan of this song, but it barely beats our an instrumental song. Can I vote for Marvin Gaye instead?
#3. Circle The Drain by Soccer Mommy -- this one wins for me simply because I can't stand the Flamingo song.
#4. Hurt by Johnny Cash -- I feel for Only For You, in that it has to go up against one of the favorites in the first round. Again, speaks to the power of the seeding round.
#5. $ave Dat Money by Lil' Dicky -- I like the Lit song, a lot, but Lil' Dicky pulls it out by a little bit.
#6. Hotel California by The Eagles -- Funny story, I had this song in my original playlist, but when I saw it was picked by someone else, I replaced it with the Randy Travis song. This one wasn't close imo.
#7. Edge of Midnight by Miley Cyrus -- Sneaky good match-up. I can't believe I'm voting for a Miley Cyrus song, but the Stevie Nicks inclusion pushed it over the top for me.
#8. Still Fly by Big Tymers -- Sorry Smokey, but you just aren't fly any longer.
