King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard is an Australian rock band formed in 2010 in Melbourne, Victoria. They are known for their energetic live shows and prolific recording output, having released two EPs and 15 studio albums since their formation.
In 2017, the band fulfilled a promise to release FIVE studio albums within the year!!!!!
Every album has a totally different sound than the last. They did a cool jazz album and followed it up with a heavy metal album for example.
Also, every show they do is a completely different set-list (similar to how jam bands do it) | --------------------

My favorite album by them is Murder of the Universe. It's pretty fuckin heavy but on my second listen I was incredibly into it. The same beat pops up a lot and you learn to love it and go crazy every time you hear it.
There's another album called Sketches of Brunswick East which is a collaboration with Mild High Club. That's the jazzy one. | --------------------
