so we have the first dragonrider in 150+ years, plus killing harpies. verses the mad queen's ride of destruction. i dont love either scene but i give this to Drogon taking initiative

went with the King's Landing scene...I guess? Both were hugely disappointing but the fighting pit scene might've been hurt further by the fact that I had already read it, and the book version is so, so much better. At least the KL scene LOOKED really nice and was pretty well directed with the ground-level stuff. The fighting pit was just lame

and I still find it hilarious that not a single Harpy thought to throw a spear at Dany when they had her boxed in, yet apparently had dozens to throw at Drogon?

plot armor. also the show missed a great chance to have fun by not casting Strong Belwas.
