It's... different! I didn't really look at any of the gameplay videos or hype of this game so I'm not sure what I was expecting. A lot of people are ripping it for being a walking simulator. And it kinda is. But I do actually find the treks back and forth fun. There's something oddly satisfying about being able to deliver cargo and have it all survive. And the rush you get to pick everything up when you lose it, especially in a river or when everything goes sliding down a mountain. I also really like the aspect of working together with other players without actually ever seeing them physically. I've never really seen that in a game before and it's a really interesting concept. Especially in a game like this!
Most videos of people that liked it that I watched said you have to play around 10 hours before really getting into the game and really appreciating it. That turned a lot of people off.
I would imagine that is probably when you get better ways of defending yourself. The early parts of the game leaves you very defenseless. I can do nothing but sneak around when BTs are present and can only really punch/kick humans. But in all honesty, I don't mind that at all. Also I just unlocked the ability to use the motorbike and tbh, I used it once and got off voluntarily after a few minutes to keep walking. Maybe I'm just easy to please (:
