SO, this laucher from the fortnite people has been doing free games every 2 weeks, but they decided to switch it to every week. The current game is Stories Untold, with Rime being added tomorrow (and both will be free until the 30th).

They're also having a big sale!




I am keeping my resolution of not buying new videogames this year but its worth checking out

Stories Untold is a fun time

SU is def worth checking out. SPEAKING OF WHICH the developers behind that just came out with their next game called Observation which is another atmospheric horror-ish game, this time with heavy 2001 Space Odyssey influences

It's only on Epic Store which might be what pushes me over the edge to download it

Honestly my only hold-up is it feels real silly to have games on this/Steam/Origin/Battle.net. I MISS THE SIMPLE DAYS OF EVERYTHING LAUNCHING THROUGH STEAM! Although I guess it's not too different from how scattered streaming platforms are now. Just annoying

ya same here

I'm mostly on Epic just for the weekly free games, but the sales/high developer's cut are p nice. And I imagine that's going to be attracting a lot of the better indie titles unless Steam gives the developers a better cut too.

Maybe if this becomes a big enough threat to Steam Valve will actually have to develop the 3rd game of something!!!

Apparently Sims 4 is free on Origin? Separate thread I guess, but not worth making it for one game
