1. Bohemian Rhapsody! Honestly I might have to stop here, as this is the only film I watched at cinema this year. This category would have been much easier if it was top three worst movies of 2018. Say... :=]:

1. Top three WORST movies of 2018

1. The Last Jedi - I didn't see it til this year so it counts. This gets the top spot because of the expectation surrounding it and how hard it failed. This was even worse than the Force Awakens. IMO, this film sums up all the reasons why reviving the star wars series was a mistake. It's an empty husk trying to revive the magic that made the originals so great. I think the prequels were better than this crap!

2. Skyscraper - Boring generic crap. I never wanted to watch this movie, but I had no choice. God, it was awful.

3. The Humanity Bureau - Again, I had to watch this against my will, but It was Nicholas Cage so a few unintentionally hilarious moments lifted this film a bit. Unfortunately, there weren't enough funny moments to make it a comedy classic. It was pretty damn bad.

I'm gonna go ahead and count songs that came out in previous years but that I only discovered this year, so:

Yes, it took me until 2018 to realize that Smashing Pumpkins existed.

Again, none specifically from 2018, but I happened to listen to them the first time this year:

1. Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
2. Badly Drawn Boy - Hour of the Wilderbeast
3. John Lennon - Walls & Bridges

Honorable mention that is actually from 2018: Tell Me How You Really Feel by Courtney Barnett: that was pretty good

I could have filled this list with more Beatles solo albums. I had this rule about not listening to their solo material so that I could say there was some Beatles stuff I hadn't heard. I broke that rule this year, and I'm glad I did.

5. Top three video games of 2018

1. Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Definitely the best game I've played this year. I can't say I've ever come across a game quite like it. Though I haven't found it to have much replay value, I still really enjoyed the first playthrough.

2. Bioshock - So I got this right at the end of last year but whatever it counts. A classic game that deserves it's reputation. Very glad to have played it finally.

3. Rimworld / Cities Skylines: These are my go to games when I wanna tune out and do fuck all for an hour or two.

The Scottish Highlands. A very nice place, even when the weather is shite

Oh. I didn't realize you were supposed to meet new people on a yearly basis.

Kingdom Come will probs be better now that they've ironed out the bugs. There were quite a few on release!

Also, planning on playing Infinite soon, I have it on steam, just haven't installed it yet.

Also yes, I only just discovered Smashing Pumpkins, don't judge me. I mean, I'd heard of them, but never listened to a single one of their songs until this year. They were always that band with the dumb name that were probably rubbish. I was wrong. Must be a British thing. Have you ever heard of The Jam?
