It was your typical Tuesday when the X-Men and the Brotherhood were in the midst of battle. But something atypical happened during their fight. Suddenly a circular object trapped the mutants inside, seemingly absorbing them into an alternate dimension.
28 mutants woke up in an arena. They stared blankly at each other. It was clear that something fishy was going on, because not only did they not recognize anyone surrounding them, they did not recognize themselves. The reality set in fast for the group of people. They could not remember who they were or where they came from. Were they friends? Were they foes? The only thing they knew was they were mutants with certain skills. Glancing up, the group could see a sign that indicated the place they resided: Murderworld.
Over a loudspeaker came a mischievous voice.
"Welcome to Murderworld dear mutants. I'm Arcade, your host for this adventure. Among you lies a group of killers. Only they remember who they are outside of this reality. The rest of you star as our confused innocents. You must sniff out the corrupt before it's too late. Slip up and you will find out exactly why Murderworld got it's name!"
